Hyuncheol Nam was born on the 1st of March, 1998. He was 16 when he died.
Hyuncheol was the fourth child of his family. He had loved music since a young age, and had shown talent in playing the guitar. He was described as extroverted and a great leader by his big group of friends, but he had trouble with emotions, and kept it to himself when his grandmother died. Despite the talent he had in music, Hyuncheol aspired to become an English teacher, and had just returned from a year of studying abroad in New Zealand.
Only his guitar and student ID were returned from the ferry. His body remains missing.
