Getting Started...
Allison woke up accidentally hitting her alarm and knocking it to the floor. She groaned, getting ready for school and walked up to her window. The girl opened it, and not even five seconds later, Noah had his window opened as well.
"I'm on my way!" He shouted.
"Great, take your time... I've seen a snail pass you!" She shouted back. He laughed and they both closed their windows. Allison headed down the stairs and quickly opened the door for her best friend.
"You ready Sal?" Noah asked the brunette.
"Oh totally! One hundred percent ready!" She sarcastically remarked. Allison shouted goodbye to her mom Lydia, as her dad Stiles drove them to school. When they got there, he turned around and looked at teens.
"Remember what we said last night. Anything weird, you come to us. Got it?" He said nervously.
"Should we tell him?" His daughter asked Noah, who looked super confused, but he went along with it.
"I think we should... he can handle it," he answered. Allison's dad looked like his head was going to explode.
"What! Oh my God, what happened?"
"It's my dad, he's been acting extremely weird." Stiles let out the breath he was holding and glared at Allison.
"Whatever, at least Scott's in the building. Next time, he's driving you two!" He told the teenagers. They all laughed and got out of the car, walking towards the building. Noah had his arm draped around Allison.
"Look, this will be our year! I can feel it!" The boy said all excited.
"Our year? We're not exactly cool people." She smiled at Noah, who chuckled at her joke.
"What are you talking about? You share DNA with Lydia!" The boy exclaimed.
"Keyword share. Don't forget, I'm a Stilinski!" Noah laughed at the girl's statement, as they walked into their first-period class.
"What are you two doing here? You know this is mythology right?!"
"Duh, we just want an easy A, plus mythology seems like it could be fun," Allison said, getting cut off by Noah,
"Or possibly useful... you never know." His girl best friend shot him a look that said, seriously?! He just shrugged it off and they looked at their teacher.
"Go sit down." he scolded and they did, just as the bell rang.
"Hello, class! My name is Mr. McCall, and I'm your mythology teacher."
~ TIME SKIP TO THE BEGINNING OF LACROSSE SEASON ~
Allison watched Noah go for the lacrosse team and make it. He wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible. Not to mention his dad was the coach, but Scott never gave his son any special treatment.
He actually practiced with Noah a lot. They got back to Scott's house and saw their parents sitting at the table, talking to each other. They walked up the stairs and went into Noah's room.
"Somethings off, I can feel it," Allison whispered.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I don't know, it's just a feeling... ya know?" Allison started to get a little freaked out. She wasn't known to have panic attacks, so she was confused as to why her hands started shaking and her breathing was getting louder.
As she struggled, looking around the room, footsteps were heard coming towards the door. Scared out of her mind, Allison grabbed Noah's baseball bat and went to swing when the door opened.
"Woah! Woah! Woah! It's just us!" The father's yelled. Her breathing calmed and she felt better but on edge. Lydia pushed through to examine her daughter as she dropped the bat to the floor.
"Sal... what's wrong?" Her mother asked, holding Allison's shoulders.
"I-I-I don't know, but something's wrong, I can feel it!" She stuttered, out of breath. Lydia gave her daughter a tight hug, she could tell how scared Allison was. Eventually, she let go and handed her daughter off to Noah, who held her just as close. Malia, Scott, and Stiles all shared the same look and exited the room.
"How's that possible?" Malia asked, full of concern.
"I don't know, maybe... she is a banshee?" Lydia questioned, starting to get worried.
"I thought banshees only developed their power after something triggers it. Like, the bite did for you," Scott said to his friends.
"I know, and I know she wasn't attacked!" Lydia continued.
"That you know of," Malia said slightly.
"Not to mention, I thought the whole banshee thing was every other Martin. It's been a pattern like that since... forever!" Stiles spoke quickly.
"I know. Look it's getting late, they have school tomorrow, and we need to figure this out, because if she is a banshee... what if Noah is a wolf or a coyote, but didn't tap into it yet." Lydia said as the adults all looked at each other worried. They shook their heads, agreeing to what the strawberry blonde had said.
The family's exchanged goodbyes, ready to call it a night. Lydia and Stiles tucked their sixteen-year-old girl in, making sure she was okay. Stiles sat on the edge of his daughter's bed and Lydia crouched down in front of her.
"Can I get a baseball bat?" Allison asked, pouting her lips. Lydia giggled and kissed the top of her head. She looked at Stiles and said,
"She's so much like you, it's scary!" He had a huge grin plastered on his face and kissed his daughter on the cheek, saying goodnight.
