What's Reality...

Allison woke up in her room. It was pitch black and no light was coming out of her window, she couldn't see a thing. She turned around and saw that in the center of her room, there was one glowing firefly. It didn't move, it was practically frozen in place. It was just lit up, getting brighter and brighter the longer it stayed.

Allison stood up and walked over to the bug, fear quickly overcoming her body. She felt someone's breath on the back of her neck and soon enough, someone whispered in the girl's ear. The voice was dark and disturbing. It told riddles,

What gets bigger the more you take away?

What gets wetter the more it dries?

When is a door not a door?

Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it?

Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it, Stiles?

Allison screamed and jolted awake. Her first thought was, why did it call me Stiles? She looked around and noticed that she was in the woods. The girl started to sprint, having her bare feet crunch against the leaves and the sticks cut up her ankles.

Allison stopped in front of a large tree stump and was pushed onto the middle of the wood. Sal went to get up, but the branches started to wrap around the girl like it was going to absorb her body. It's just a dream, it's just a dream, wake up... wake up Allison... wake up! WAKE UP!

Allison Stilinski quickly woke up in her bed and saw the morning sun begin to rise. She got ready for school, replaying the unusual nightmare in her head. The girl ran down the stairs and sat at the table with her mom.

"I had a crazy nightmare! You wouldn't even believe..." Allison said, laughing a little. Lydia looked up at her daughter.

"What was it about?" she asked curiously. The teenager told her everything.

"The funny thing is... it was all so real... like I didn't know I was dreaming until I had to be. Otherwise, I would've died, ya know? Like what if this is all just a dream too?" Ally laughed at her mom, who gave her an understanding nod.

"Well, think like your father, how would you know if you're dreaming?" Lydia asked.

"Fingers. Dreams add fingers." The brunette stated casually. Her mother's smile dropped.

"So. Count. Them!" She yelled. Allison was taken back, but she started to count her fingers,

"One... two... three... four... five... six... seven... eight... nine... ten... eleven... oh my God!" She whispered to herself. Allison looked up and Lydia was just standing there. Her eyes were rolled to the back of her head, while her jaw was completely unhinged, and she was screaming. Sal ran out of the house, holding onto her ears and screaming for help. You gotta wake up! She yelled in her head.

The girl woke up in bed, flinging herself around as she screamed. Stiles held his daughter close to his body, telling her it was okay as Lydia stood at the door frame with tears in her eyes. Allison calmed down as soon as she saw her loving parents.

"Sh, sh, sh, you're okay, look we can count my fingers together... okay?" Her father said, comforting his scared daughter. She nodded her head, while tears spilled everywhere.

"One... two... you're doing good," when Stiles started to count three, Allison noticed his hands were wrapped in cloth. She looked up to see her mom was no longer there. The girl turned around to face her dad and saw a person completely covered in bandages. She could only see the mouth, which had rotted, sharp, and shiny teeth, and it looked like black liquid was starting to ooze from its mouth. She quickly got up, scared out of her mind.

Let me in.

Let me in.

Let me in.

LET ME IN!

It screamed, getting louder each time it repeated those three words. The room began to shake and Allison covered her ears, having her crystal blue eyes screw shut, continuously screaming louder and louder as she cried.

"NOOO!" She screamed, quickly feeling arms wrapped around her. Her body was being held in place.

"You're safe, you're safe, it's okay," she heard her dad say, while he stroked her hair. Allison opened her eyes and struggled to get out of his grasp, remembering what just happened three minutes ago.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" The brunette screamed at her parents, noticing Lydia was at the foot of her bed.

"Wake up Allison! Wake up! WAKE UP!" She screamed. The girl saw Scott and Malia slowly walk into her room with Noah close behind them.

"You're awake, I promise you're awake," Malia said calmly to the scared teen.

"No, no, no, I'm not! I keep thinking I am, but I'm not!" Allison saw her closet door open a crack.

Let. Me. In...

A voice echoed as slow as possible. Her head whipped around at the sound, looking at the slightly open closet. Ally quickly jumped to close it as fast and as hard as she could, slamming her back against the door, so it couldn't open again.

"I can't let them in, I can't let them in, I can't let them in!" Allison said in sobs. She saw her dad start to look scared at the words she kept repeating.

"Look we can count my fingers together, okay? I've done this before with your dad." Scott said, bending down to be in front of Allison.

"No!" She screamed, "I did that twice already! It never works... I know I'm dreaming, wake up... wake up... PLEASE WAKE UP!" Allison cried as her voice went raspy. She saw Noah slowly walk over, crouching down in front of her to be face to face.

"Look this is real, I'm real... you're awake, I promise," he said, gently holding her face in his hand, as she leaned into him. Allison nodded her head, slightly calming down. They started counting her fingers slowly until she got to ten. Noah helped her up and held her in a tight hug. The parents left and walked down the stairs.

"First the feeling like Lydia and then the night terrors and not knowing when you're awake like Stiles, whatever is going on... can't possibly be good," Scott said to his friends. They all nodded in agreement and decided to spend the night in the same house together.

"We can figure this out!" Malia tried to up their spirits.

"Why is she getting the night terrors though? I only had them when we gave back power to the Nemeton. Ya know? When we died and came back to life. So, why is all of this happening... to her?" Stiles questioned, but no one knew the answer.
