Memory Lane...

Allison got to the precinct and immediately walked into the sheriff's office. Her dad was looking at an enormous board full of pictures and red string. Stiles turned around when he heard his door open.

"Why aren't you in school?"

"Scott told me to take the day when I snapped a desk in half." The teen spoke like it was truly her.

"You broke a desk in half... why?" Stiles questioned.

"Mr. Dena was talking about knowing your odds, per usual he picked on me and betted a hundred dollars that I couldn't break the desk, so I said two hundred and got the money." She explained. Stiles had a small smirk on his face.

The way Allison spoke about her teacher reminded him of a mix between Mr. Harris and Coach Finstock. Although, something she said to him had stuck... know your odds. Stiles began to think, what are the odds... that this was really Allison and not Void?

"Hey, Sal?" He asked his daughter. He needed to know if it was her or not.

"Yea?" She questioned back. In her mind, the nogitsune was still winning and she was trapped, slowly gaining movement but not enough to play her turn. When she heard her dad's tone of voice change, she stopped struggling and just listened to him talk.

"Remember when you were a little kid and we asked you if you needed help with your homework?" Stiles brought up an old memory. Void had to practically search through Allison's mind to answer correctly.

"Yea. I said I didn't need any help... I thought it was easy and then Mom got excited and said, 'thank God! She took after me!' And then you said," Stiles cut her off,

"What are you talking about? I got A's and B's. I was a great student!" Allison smiled and looked down at her feet. If only Stiles could see that this wasn't his daughter. The real Allison listened as her dad's voice trembled. She knew he was trying to figure out if it was actually her. The girl was finally able to bend her elbows and she developed a plan.

"So did you find the body?" She asked her dad and he shook his head no.

"Need some help?" The teen offered. Stiles handed her a marker, pins, and a piece of string. In her subconscious, she could see Void smiling at her. It made her anger only grow and she started taking over.

She bent her elbows up and with as much force as she could and slammed her fists down. The Nemeton shook and Void's game piece fell off of hers. She took the opportunity to speak and Void couldn't stop it.

"Dad, remember the time Mom stayed at work late because she was grading papers and we stayed up for hours to have a Star Wars marathon?" Stiles was quick to look at her. Allison asked that way too fast and he had an uneasy feeling about it.

"Yea, I remember. Lydia yelled at me the next day because you wouldn't get up and go to school." He laughed at the memory.

"Do you remember why we watched Star Wars?" Stiles asked his daughter. Void tried searching through her mind but couldn't see a single memory. Allison was able to move and nothing was holding her down anymore. She smirked at the fox, as it struggled to come up with something to say.

It quickly took one of the teen's pieces off of the board in panic. Allison was back to being useless in her own mind. She was able to move but got stuck in a trance. The girl's focus was on the board and it was like she tuned out everything else around her.

"I had a bad day and you wanted to cheer me up." The girl stated sweetly. A sarcastic smile came across Stiles's face. It was a trick question. There was no reason why they had a marathon. He walked over to his already closed door and locked it.

"I gotta say, you almost had me. Enough of this act, I know you're not my daughter."

"Dad, what are you talking about?"

"Don't call me that... you're not Allison."

"Ding ding ding, we have a winner! You know, Scott is so much easier to manipulate." Void said.

"What did you do?" Stiles asked, trying not to let his emotions take over. A wicked smile was spread across her face.

"She's struggling. I have her locked in a trance." The fox gloated.

"Let her go, take me instead!" Stiles yelled.

"Oh, how I appreciate your enthusiasm! But that wouldn't be much fun now, would it?" Void spoke.

"Look I was easier to control! Just please, let her go!" He pleaded.

"True, but she makes the game a challenge. Not to mention her being a banshee only makes us stronger." The nogitsune said through Allison. Stiles' phone started to ring and you could hear Scott on the other line, explaining what happened at the school.

"Void's at the station, it tried pretending to be Allison." There was a lot of movement on the other line and you could hear Travis frantically speaking to Scott.

"The body, we found the body... it was in someone's locker."

"I'm on my way," Stiles said, hanging up the phone.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Allison stated.

"Why not?"

"Well... while your little girl was sleeping, I let her think she was playing a good game, while I went out and did something... extra special. Give it a few more minutes." It said manically. Stiles didn't know what to say and just like that, every phone in the station began to ring. Once one person hung up, another call came through. Stiles unlocked the door and looked around. Justin walked up to him and said,

"There's been accidents everywhere! It started this morning, but it's only getting worse. It looks like somebody cut the brakes on people's cars!"
