Worries Within...

Everyone started to ease up when they realized Allison was back. That was everyone, except for Allison. Even in a paralyzed state, she felt pins and needles throughout her entire body.

"Did you guys wanna spend the night?" Lydia asked.

"I think... I just need some time to process," Alexa told the strawberry blonde. Everyone nodded understanding.

"I have to go to meet Katelynn. Wanna come?" Dwyer offered. The girl slowly agreed and the two left.

"Travis? Tara? Noah?" Stiles asked.

"Thanks, but I'm gonna take Travis back to my house, I need to talk to him about something," Noah explained.

"See ya at the house, I guess," Travis said towards Noah's parents.

"I guess that's our cue to leave," Malia said and Scott nodded.

"Text us if anything happens." The alpha stated.

"Of course. Tara, are you staying?"

"I should probably go home. Think I could get a ride?" She asked.

"Ya, Come on." Stiles offered. The two hopped into his Jeep and she thanked him for the ride.

"You sure you wanna go home?" He asked the blonde.

"Honestly? No, but I have to. Do you think Allison will be okay? She looked pale and the dark rings under her eyes... it's just that, Jack did say the third game was gonna be the hardest." The girl explained.

"She'll be fine, I looked the same way. I'm scared for her... ya know? But I can't show that. I have to be strong for her, for Lydia, and for you guys." Stiles told her.

"Being scared is part of what makes you strong," Tara said as he parked in front of her house. To say she lived in a broken-down home, would be an understatement. Her mom came out of the house and approached the teen girl.

"The police?!" Those were the only two words spoken before Tara was slapped in the face. The blonde fell to the ground, not expecting her mom to hit her in front of the sheriff. Her mom walked over and gripped the teen's hair, starting to try and drag her.

"Hey!" Stiles called out.

"I'm sorry about my good for nothing daughter Sheriff, hopefully after tonight... she'll learn to not get in trouble with the police." The woman said through gritted teeth.

"I was giving her a ride home. She's not in any trouble!" He defended.

"Not yet."

"Stiles, it's okay. Just leave." Tara's voice cracked. It hurt him more than he thought. Stiles was so used to seeing Tara full of confidence and being unpredictable. He felt how scared she was and that's when her words rang through his head, being scared is part of what makes you strong.

"Sorry Miss. Hughes, but I'm taking your daughter with me." Stiles pulled the blonde away from her mother and put her back into the car. He didn't listen to what her mom was yelling about, he just started his Jeep and drove.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Why, cause she hit me? Yea I'm okay. I always heal and it's nothing new for me. Look, I don't wanna talk about it, okay?" Tara explained. He silently nodded and turned up the radio for a silent ride. Travis sat on Noah's bed, confused as to why they couldn't just stay with Allison.

"Why did we have to leave? Also, what do you need to talk to me about?" Travis asked.

"How come you didn't get tricked with the sirens? How come it has no effect on you?" Noah questioned.

"I don't know. Tara told me it might have to do with feeling a strong emotion. Like she got so mad that she snapped out of it, although, I don't know why she was so mad." The blonde explained.

"So what emotion do you feel?"

"Well, I'm practically in love with Tara, you know that! Actually... everybody knows that."

"But I like Katelynn." Noah defended.

"Do you? Cause I feel like you're using that to cover up who you really like." Travis said, making his voice grow quieter.

"Who?!" He yelled.

"Allison. Duh."

"I don't like Allison!" The dark-haired boy exclaimed.

"Oh, okay. So if I were to ask out Allison, you'd be okay with that?" Travis asked.

"You wanna ask out Allison?" Noah said, making a face.

"You missed the point, but your face said it all." The blonde laughed.

"No! Fine, ask out Allison! I don't care."

"I wasn't asking out Allison. Would you relax?" Travis said and Noah let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Do you think Tara's okay? I know she planned on going home tonight." The teen said, changing the subject.

"I hope so. I mean, she can definitely take care of herself." Travis said.

"Woah." Noah randomly spoke through his breath.

"What?" The blonde asked.

"I don't know. I just felt like my pulse was rising."

"You okay?"

"Yea. I think I'm good now... Weird." Noah stated, putting his head down and falling asleep. Travis would have too, but he didn't like what Noah said. He remembered what Dwyer and Tara told them about the locker room.

How he couldn't control himself because his pulse was so high and Cassidy was there the whole time. The blonde decided to stay awake, just to make sure Noah was fine. He looked out the window and noticed Allison and Tara walking into her bedroom.
