"Imperial Curio: Armour Type Activate! Dual Latent!" Kai chants in the obstacle course fashioned back yard. Nothing happens. He sighed.
"Try again." Said Yuri. "This time, try being more kawaii." She secretly pulled out his phone from her shorts, hiding it beneath her white blouse.
His tone went feminine. "~Activato~!~Duuu~al Latent~!" He possessed, forming his fingers into a heart.
""Fuck! He's even more super cutesy sexy!!!" Katsumi thought aloud. Her nose bled almost splash her pink sweater and mini skirt.
Yuri took pictures. "Who knew you could get anymore cute!!! I'll treasure these till the day I die!!!" Her nose bled.
"Yamete you guys." Said Kai. They gushed over him even more. "This is serious. I've been at this for an hour and I still can't activate my IC."
They stop. "Alright. Alright. Katsumi-chan will be serious... wait! That's it! That night, you weren't scared at all. You were dead serious, brave and full of rage. Maybe that'll work."
"It's worth a try. DUAL LATENT!-*coughing*" His voice broke.
Yuri clasped. "Stop! In the name of all that is holy please stop. Hahaha! I can't take it! You sound so freaking cringe! Hahahaha!!" She banged her fist on the ground.
Katsumi holds her stomach, attempting not to laugh. "Ppfffftttt pwohoho!" She failed. "Katsumi-chan's sorry Kai-kun, but she couldn't help it hoho."
He sighs. Why isn't it working? Though I don't remember that night clearly, what I was feeling. Those emotions are burned into my memory. It was the same with Misumi-sama and when I lashed out at Kono Sensei. Even yesterday with Yuri-san. This power changes who I am just like what Misumi-sama said this morning.

Earlier today.
Misumi walked into the living room. Oversized book in hand. The cover a bit tattered and withered. "I apologize for the wait." She sat on the couch sporting genes and purple t-shirt. Her had a matching bow and her horns exposed.
Why the hell is she so sexy in casual clothes?! Thought Kai, Katsumi and Yuri.
"Misumi-sama, I haven't seen anyone but you today."
"Our one month break is over so everyone's out on quests again. Before we start I have something to say. I'm sure Katsumi-chan is aware so I'll explain for you two. I'm a sort of novice information broker of the magic world when it comeS to ICs, not to mention selective with my clientele. But for you, I've made an exception and my services come at a price."
"Katsumi-san?"
"Nothing to worry about Kai-kun. Just a few red coin." She said smug.
Misumi opens the book. "Took some time to find any information regarding this particular IC which there is rather little on."
"And why is that?" Asked Katsumi.
"It's considered the most useless amongst the ICs. Some scholars have questioned if it is an IC."
"Based on what I've seen it's grossly underestimated." Yuri said.
"Yes, that seems to be the case." Misumi recants the tales around this IC and the destruction it brings to it user.
It was the same tale of how a corrupt pope used it to turn human infants into Extirpators. How the cult continued their work into world war 1 and 2 before being stopped. "Do you understand? Although Malachi-kun managed to withstand its power this time, there's no way of knowing if he will survive a second time. The worst part is it's unpredictability."
