"Sometimes I wish I just had superpowers."
"Really?"
"Of course. Things would be made much easier for me. I could even become a superhero."
"Superhero? And what would you call yourself?"
"Ampanman. Cool, isn't it?"
"Yeah. So what would your superpower be?"
"Hmm, I'd wish I can fly."
"Oh, that's so cool."
"Yeah, except I've a fear of heights."
"Oh.", Lalisa uttered.
"But I also wish I could read people's minds. You know, everyone seems so fake, you can't even tell the difference between what is real and what is fake. I just want to be able to know what is true and what is false, what is real and what is fake."
"That's...amazing. It'd be awesome to be able to do that."
"But I know it won't really be necessary with you."
"Hm? What do you mean by that?"
"You like Jungkook. I know your feelings for him are true."
"Yes.", Lalisa nodded.
"So, what would be your superpower?"
"Well, I guess...I don't really know, maybe...nah, I don't know. I've always been into...water? I mean, I really like Mako Mermaids and H2O Just Add Water so something related to that I guess."
"That'd be awesome. But I don't think you'd need superpowers to be able to get what you want."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You're very determined and plus you're really pretty so you could use that to your advantage.", Taehyung said, not knowing how hot his compliment was making Lalisa.
"Uh,thanks? You're pretty attractive too."
"Thanks, I get that a lot."
"It's not a lie."
"Coming from you, I'd definitely believe that." And that was the cue for Lalisa's blush to intensify.
"Have you ever wondered what the colour of outer space is?", Taehyung asked the blonde out of nowhere.
"Random question but uh, no? I always thought it was black, at least that's what I see in the movies.", Lalisa replied, unsurely.
"Well, that is true. But then, during the daytime, the sky isn't black but a clear blue and we see that because of the sunlight so what does that really make the colour of outer space. Cuz in the daytime as we look at the sky, it's a clear light blue but then when you go to outer space, it's black."
"Hmm, I never thought of it like that. I guess you've got a point.", Lalisa agreed, even her mind had never gone that far to think of that.
"It'd be so cool to go to outer space. If I ever discovered a new planet, I'd name it Vantae."
"I'd probably name mine Kookie."
"Of course. But how about Liskook? That way it's after the both of you."
"You're right. How come I didn't think of that? Don't get me wrong but, why do you care so much?"
"Believe it or not, I'm the number one Liskook fan."
"Really? Why?"
"I've seen the girls who throw themselves at my best friend but you, you're not like them. You're different.", Taehyung answered, his gaze turning intense that it even took Lalisa by surprise.
Everyone knew Taehyung to be a 24/7 jolly person so witnessing him suddenly turning serious really shocked her.
It was like his eyes were digging into your soul and you just had to submit to him. That was how intense his gaze could get.
But not a lot of people knew about this serious side of him aside from his closest friends and now, Lalisa.
"Thanks.", Lalisa smiled genuinely, grateful of his perception about her.
After all, he was Jungkook's best man at her fantasy wedding with Jungkook.
"What's going on here?"
Lalisa and Taehyung both looked up to see Jungkook arms crossed, an eyebrow raised and a scowl on his handsome face.
"Just talking.", Taehyung replied, standing up from his cross legged sitting position on the grass, Lalisa following suit.
Taehyung and Jungkook were supposed to meet at the park before heading to the arcade but Jungkook was running a little late.
When he finally got to the park, he spotted two figures sitting on the grass talking. He grew curious and realized they were actually his best friend and his admirer.
He couldn't help but frown at how close both of them were and the way she smiled at him. He remembered Taehyung telling him that they weren't very close the other day.
'I thought he said they weren't close', Jungkook thought.
"Hey Jungkook.", Lalisa greeted him cheerily.
"Hi Lalisa." Jungkook greeted her back.
"Sorry Lisa, I've to get going now.", Taehyung turned to her.
"It's okay. "
"I'll see you next time."
"Sure thing.", Lalisa smiled.
Jungkook rolled his eyes when he saw Taehyung smile back at the girl who was supposed to like him but his action didn't go unnoticed by his best friend.
Taehyung smirked internally, knowing that his friend was pissed at how they both were interacting.
Taehyung ruffled her hair lightly before turning around and walking away with Jungkook while Lalisa laid down on the grass, staring at the sky, imagining a planet named Liskook.
"I thought you two weren't close. So what were you both doing together?", Jungkook asked immediately they were out of Lalisa's hearing reach.
"I just happened to bump into her there while I was waiting for you. And we just talked but I guess you could say we got closer."
Taehyung smirked when he saw how Jungkook's tongue poked his cheek, a clear sign that he was pissed.
"But don't worry, she still likes you."
"I'm not worried. Especially not about that."
Taehyung chuckled at how fast Jungkook reacted. He was too easy to read.
"Whatever you say bunny boy."
"Alien."
