"Come on Jungkook, you can do this. There's nothing to fear. Just go in there and do it. It's not like you're going to die. You weren't born a coward. You are going to go in there and you are going to-"

"Excuse me, are you going to enter? You're blocking the entrance.", a woman said to the visibly tensed boy.

"Oh, sorry.", Jungkook bowed to the lady before excusing himself to the side for the lady to enter.

After another round of pep talks to himself, the boy finally entered the music store.

He had a mission in mind and he was determined to accomplish it.

"I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano.", Jungkook said as he stood next to the mint haired man playing the said instrument.

"This is a keyboard.", the man said without even turning his head.

Is it too late now to walk out...he thought and quickly shook his head, disregarding the thought.

He needed to do this.

"Oh? I'm not ready experienced in the aspect of music."

"I can tell."

Jungkook began to feel his confidence slowly slipping away...not that there was much confidence seeing the vibe the older guy was emitting.

"Can you sing though?"

"Huh?", the boy was taken aback by the older boy's sudden question.

He honestly didn't think he would speak to him at all.

"Uh, a little I guess.", Jungkook answered, unsure of where the conversation was headed.

"Mmh.", the mint haired man nodded, still not turning to look at the tense boy.

There was a raging silence between the two with the melodious tunes from the keyboard in the background.

Jungkook was just about leaving since the man clearly had no interest in talking to him.

"Sing something."

"Huh?"

Jungkook simply didn't know what to respond with at that moment.

"Sing something.", the man now turned with a blank expression to face the confused boy

"I-I-"

"It's the least you could do."

Jungkook was even more confused at his words. If the mint haired man recognized him, he certainly didn't show it.

"Uh, okay, I guess."

Jungkook didn't know the man's intentions but decided to follow anyway.

The two girls had told him before that whatever Min Yoongi wants, Min Yoongi gets.

Kinda like his sister Jennie.

The boy released a final breath as he came to an end.

The song had gotten him emotional as memories of that one single girl flooded his mind.

He almost forgot the other party until he heard his voice.

"You have a nice voice."

"Uh, tha-"

"It's unfortunate how you use it to hurt others."

Yoongi's words were simple and clear.

"You-you know. You know."

Of course Yoongi knew who the boy was.

First became he was all tha Lalisa could talk about in the past and she had showed him countless pictures of him.

Secondly, just the mere mention of his name brought him into a foul mood.

He had seen the younger boy when he was outside the store and it had taken him all his will power not to just head over there and strangle him.

"Why did you do it?"

"I...I..", whatever speech Jungkook had planned seemed to have flown out the window.

"I don't know why you came here to talk to me, but I don't want to talk to you."

Before Yoongi could make his way out of the store, the younger held him back, much to the former's displeasure.

"I know I don't really have the right to say sorry or try to apologise but I just can't help but do exactly that. Because it hurts. It hurts that I caused the most amazing and wonderful person that I have ever known such pain. It hurts because everytime I close my eyes, the sight of her with tears in her eyes from that damned Friday is all I can see. It hurts because I missed the chance of being with her. It hurts because by the time I realized how I felt about her, how deeply her smile, her laugh, her entire existence affects me, I had already pushed her away. And I know I deserve what I'm feeling and much more, but I can't help it. I...I...I need her. Not because of all the attention she used to give me, but because of all the attention I was too proud and ignorant to give her. I just, I can't...I call let her go. She's too important to me to let go. I don't know how I was-"

"Do you think you deserve her?"

Yoongi's question took him off guard. Did he really deserve Lalisa?

"No. No, I don't."

"If you yourself know you don't deserve her, why don't you leave her alone? Why don't you forget about her? It's not like you paid attention to her anyway."

"I can't. I might come out seeming over confident and as a smug jerk, but I can't help but feel like she still feels something for me. And I'm hanging on to that feeling. I'm ready to risk everything for the hope that I have for her, for us."

"Tsk, I've got my eyes on you Jeon."

Jungkook had been standing for so long and hadn't even realized that Yoongi had already left.

He hadn't even noticed the small smile tugging on his lips nor the lone tear falling down his left cheek.

He was determined to set things right, as long as it would guarantee her happiness.
