"So now, let's move on to the angles of elevation and depression.", Mr. Kang said. "Jackson, why don't you come up here and help me demonstrate?"

"Uh, sure thing Mr. Kang.", Jackson rose from his seat and moved to the board in front of the class.

"Jackson, let's assume you're standing here.", Mr. Kang drew a stick figure of said boy.

"Woah...is that me?"

"Yes, now-"

"But where are my ears, and my nose, and my mouth, and plus my hair looks nothing like that, not to talk of the stick-like body you drew for me.", Jackson folded his arms.

"Exactly. It's a stick figure-"

"But I'm not a stick. So why would you draw me as a stick?"

"It's just for learning purposes Jackson. Now if you would please allow me to move in with the explanation.", Mr. Kang sighed.

"Sure, you're not the one who's been drawn as a stick.", Jackson grumbled and Mr. Kang sighed once more and drew an ear nose and a mouth just for his student's satisfaction.

"Now, under normal circumstances, Jackson's line of sight would be straight.", Mr. Kang drew horizontal dash lines from Jackson's eye.

"But, if you look up-"

"But I don't want to look up.", Jackson argued.

"It's not about you-"

"It's surely about me since I'm the one who has been drawn as a stick figure and is now being forced to look up. It wouldn't hurt you asked me if I wanted to look up in the first place.", Mr. Kang sighed once more.

Trust Jackson to make a big deal about of the littlest things.

"Okay, would you kindly look up?", Mr. Kang asked.

The class watched on in amusement. Jackson never failed to pester Mr. Kang.

"No.", Jackson replied simply.

"Why?"

It was even more of a wonder why Mr. Kang always went along with it.

"Because of the sun. It's too bright. Who looks up in the sky in broad daylight?", Jackson pinched the bridge of his nose.

Chuckles and giggles erupted from the class.

"Fine.", Mr. Kang drew a pair of sunglasses for the stick figure.

"I don't think it's my style. Maybe something more-"

"Can I please get on with my class?", Mr. Kang asked, wishing he had called Namjoon or Lalisa or Jinyoung to the board instead.

"Okay.", Jackson shrugged.

"So, as Jackson looks up, his line of sight also moves to a higher height.", Mr. Kang drew inclined dash lines rising from the stick figure's eye.

"So, the angle of elevation is the angle between Jackson's normal line of sight and his upward inclined line of sight.

"Oh, makes sense.", Jackson uttered.

"Now, on to the angle of depression. If Jackson...", Mr. Kang stopped midway and stared briefly at the boy next to him before turning to the class.

"Namjoon, why don't you come up here and assist me with explaining this one?"

_____

"I honestly did not get anything Mr. Kang taught earlier.", the raven haired girl sighed dramatically, linking arms with the brunette.

"Jackson too, I had to go over everything with him again when he came back to his seat.", Jennie said.

"Probably because he was hung up on the fact that he was drawn as a stick.", Lalisa chuckled.

"At least he didn't realise that his stick form was naked.", Jennie joked and the three girls laughed at that.

"So, how about we all go to the mall after school today.?", Lalisa suggested.

"Noo...", Jisoo groaned dramatically.

"I'll have to cancel."

"What?!", both girls turned to Jennie. It was rare and almost impossible to hear Jennie Kim refuse an offer to go to the mall.

That was Jisoo's role in situations like that.

"Have you finally come to realise how much of a drag the mall can be?", Jisoo asked, smiling at the thought of her friend having a change in perspective.

"No.", Jisoo's smile faded at Jennie's answer and Lalisa giggled at how cute her friend looked.

"I have a thing with Taehyung.", Jennie answered simply, like she hadn't just dropped a bomb.

"What?!"

"It's not a big deal. We're just gonna hang out and plus it'll be a slash playdate for Kuma and Yeontan. By the way, Yeontan the name of his dog.", Jennie explained.

"What?!"

"Okay you guys have really got to stop doing that.", Jennie rubbed her ear.

"I didn't know you guys had gone that close as to setting up playdates for your dogs.", Jisoo smirked.

"Yeah. The last time I checked, you couldn't stand the guy.", Lalisa wiggles her eyebrows.

"He's not that bad. He can be a little annoying but he's okay to be around."

"Just okay?", Jisoo wiggles her eyebrows.

"Don't act all innocent. Don't think I don't know you spent the night in Yoongi's room last night.".

Jennie smirked.
Jisoo blushed.
Lalisa gasped.

"I didn't know we had gotten to that point.", Lalisa smiled teasingly.

"It wasn't planned. I just happened to fall asleep-"

"And cuddle with my brother? I just hope you two did nothing"

"Shut up Jennie, we didn't do anything.", Jisoo averted her eyes elsewhere, hoping she would find something that would take her mind off her memory of waking up in Yoongi's arms that morning.

"Well at least I-oof", immediately Lalisa opened her locker, a bowl overturned, showering her with rose petals.

This definitely attracted attention from surrounding students.

Lalisa noticed a yellow note fall down and picked it up.

Hello Lalisa,
I'm probably the last person you want to hear from but I just wanted to make an effort. 'An effort for what?' you may ask. I just wanted to start over, slowly. I know you're mad and your anger is justified but I just want to apologise and maybe we could start over. I can't change the past, no matter how much I want to but I hope I could change the future, that is only if you would let me.
I'm really really sorry.

~JK

"Who did this?"

"What does the note say?", Jisoo tried to peek over the taller girl's shoulders but Lalisa quickly folded the note

"No one.", she replied simply and both girls seemed to understand the situation.

The tables were indeed turning.
