Lalisa had been awfully confused and irritated the past week at school.
Jeon Jungkook himself had told her that she should stay away from him so why was it that he was now the one making an effort.
Why did he stop not bothering about her?
Why did he start sending her smiles?
Why did he start stealing glances at her?
Why did it look like he was changing? Not that it mattered to her anyway, she wa just curious.
The school day had ended and the students were evacuating the school premises.
"Oh, how about we all have a sleepover at my place tonight?", Jennie suggested.
"Will there be chicken?"
"Yes Jisoo, there'll be chicken.", Jennie sighed, seeing the girl's face light up at the mention of chicken.
"There'll also be Yoongi.", Lalisa smirked.
"Seriously? You guys need to stop.", Jisoo whined as a shade of pink tinted across her cheeks.
"Oh, she's blushing.", Jennie smiled teasingly.
"I am not-"
"Lisa!", all three girls turned their heads to the sound of the familiar voice.
Taehyung stood a few feet behind them smiling although there was a sense of uncertainty in his eyes. Probably because he was standing there with Jungkook.
He approached them as Jungkook trailed behind him. He was pretty sure that from the eyes Jennie was giving him, he was totally dead.
"Tae.", Lalisa beamed, not at all minding the presence next to him.
"Long time no see."
"We were literally in the same class 5 minutes ago.", Jennie rolled her eyes.
"Aw, you're so cute. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe today we should go out together.", Taehyung turned back to Lalisa after pinching Jennie's cheek which earned him a slap in the arm.
"Huh?", Lalisa tilted her head.
"I mean, all of us. Maybe, bowling?"
"Will there be chicken?"
"Yes Jisoo, we can have chicken after, my treat.", Taehyung sighed, noticing the way her face lit up at the mention of chicken.
"Wait, all of us? As in-"
"Sounds fun.", Lalisa piped, cutting Jennie off.
Taehyung glanced at the boy who was not so subtly staring at Lalisa.
"Great. So we'll meet at-"
The sound of a car driving into the parking lot cut Taehyung off as the car came to a halt.
The red sports car seemed to attract the attention of all the surrounding students.

"Lali!", the guy smiled and removed his glasses, casually raking his fingers through his blonde locks after he spotted the girl.
Lalisa's smile got even wider as she recognized the guy.
Jungkook couldn't help but frown when he saw this.
"Um, I'm sorry guys, I'll have to cancel-"
"Who's he?", Jungkook didn't know how but he blurted the question out before he could even stop himself, not that he regretted it though.
"I have plans and a meeting-", Lalisa ignored him.
"Who's he?"
"which I most definitely can't cancel-"
"Who's he?", Jungkook was starting to get pissed at this point.
"so maybe we can do this again some other time-"
"Who's he?"
"I'll see you girls later tonight. Bye.", Lalisa was turning around to leave when a grip on her hand stopped her.
"Who is he?", Jungkook growled and Lalisa scoffed.
"What's it to you?"
"Just answer me."
"I don't need to. It's none of your business."
"Do you like him?", he asked, a hint of annoyance in his tone.
"What if I do? Why?"
"Why would you even like him?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"He's short as compared to me."
"He's hot as compared to you."
"Are you really sure about that?"
"Are you really sure you want to ask me that?", Lalisa countered before releasing her hand from his grip.
"I'll catch you guys later." And with that, Lalisa turned on her heels and walked towards Jimin who was waiting for her beside his car.
He ruffled her hair lightly before opening the door to the passenger's seat for her.
Not long after, the sound of the sports car faded away until it was completely gone.
Jungkook sighed as he saw the diminishing figure of the car.
"Have fun bowling."
He turned on his heels before walking away from the group.
"Is it just me or are the tables turning?", Jisoo asked, amused.
"Mhmm.", Jennie nodded, equally amused.
"Definitely. Those people don't even know how to carry a ping pong table well."
At the entrance of the school building, a group of men were trying to find the best position to carry a ping pong table into the building, hence them frequently turning the table.
Both girls looked in the direction of his comment, then back at him before shaking their heads and walking away.
"Was it something I said?", Taehyung wondered out loud.
