Jungkook shook his head, a small smile tugged on his lips as he read the yellow note which fell from his locker.

Don't let your situation overcome you and turn you into something else.
Just remember I love you for all that you are, all that you have been and all that you will be.

Love,
Lalisa

He folded the note and kept it in his pocket before walking out of the school building.

To be honest, Jungkook actually liked these little notes Lalisa always slipped in his locker before the school day ended.

He even had a jar in his room where he kept all of them and everytime he was feeling down, he simply read any of them and it brightened up his mood.

He turned right as he headed for the Starbucks café close to the school.

___

Lalisa was heading back to her apartment after visiting the library for some research.

Her head was in the clouds, imagining how Jungkook would look like shirtless, wearing an apron in the middle of her kitchen cooking breakfast for her.

She was so into her fantasy that she wasn't paying attention on the way ahead of her until she collided with a hard body.

Lalisa closed her eyes, anticipating the contact of her back with the ground and the pain it would bring with it but was confused when she felt nothing.

She slowly opened her eyes, meeting a handsome yet unfamiliar face dangerously close to hers.

She regained her posture and faced the person who she bumped into sporting a smile and she just wanted to coo at his dimples.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention-"

"No, no, it was my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm so sorry.", the dimpled boy apologised.

"It's okay, it's okay."

"I know we just met but, would you like to have coffee with me.", Cute Dimples, as Lalisa had named him in her mind asked her, scratching his nape and Lalisa didn't think he could get any more cuter.

"As you said, we just met. I don't even know you."

"I'm Kim Hanbin.", the boy chuckled, making Lalisa giggle and internally swoon at his dimples.

"Lalisa Manoban."

"Great. Now we know each other so...?"

"Okay, I guess.", Lalisa agreed before they both headed to the Starbucks café nearby.

Both were unaware of a pair of brown eyes staring, or better still, glaring at their retreating backs after overhearing their interaction.

Jungkook was no longer in the mood for the coffee he was craving and headed back home.

___

"Hey Jungkook.", Lalisa greeted Jungkook in the hallways the next day as usual and was about to continue on her way since he never responded.

"How was your date yesterday?", Lalisa was genuinely surprised and shocked. She was shockprised.

Taehyung was beginning to rub off on her.

This was the first time in years that Jungkook had acknowledged her greeting ever since she confessed to him. He began to ignore her after months when he found her greetings somewhat...annoying.

"Date?", Lalisa asked to confirm if what she heard him asking was right, and that he was actually speaking to her.

"Starbucks.", he answered shortly, leaning his back against his locker.

Lalisa was still confused. She hadn't been on any dates, unless you exclude the imaginary ones she had with he Jungkook himself.

She didn't recall going on any dates yesterday at Starbucks. Until it finally clicked.

"Oh. You mean Hanbin.", Lalisa smiled, recalling the dimpled boy with a warm personality.

Jungkook badly wanted to scoff as he saw her smiling after she mentioned his name.

"So I see it went well then. I'm glad you've moved on from me.", Jungkook didn't feel right as he let those words slip out of his mouth but he just shrugged the feeling off.

"Oh no. That wasn't a date. We just had coffee and talked a little. He even has a girlfriend. Don't worry, my eyes are still on you, as always.", Lalisa smiled.

"Whatever.", he said before leaving her, oblivious to the small smile on his face.
