Two weeks.

Two weeks since Jennie and Bambam transferred to Golden Star Academy.

Two weeks since Lalisa reconciled with her parents.

Lalisa was terribly happy with her life as it was. She had her friends (no matter how annoying Bambam could be), she had her parents and most importantly...

Jungkook

His attitude towards her had not changed but the mere fact that he existed was enough for Lalisa to fly to the moon out of happiness.

Even if he accidentally hit her hand with a basketball as she was walking hand in hand with Bambam by the basketball court a few days  ago and didn't apologise.

Even if he didn't acknowledge her presence at the supermarket the previous week although they were the only customers present.

Even if he always tended to make out with Rosé every time she was around and act like he knew nothing about her feelings towards him.

He was an asshole, yes. But he was her cute asshole.

"Lisa, have you heard the news?", Jiwoo  approached the three girls standing in front of Lalisa's locker.

If there was anyone who was informed about anything and everything in Golden Star Academy, it was Jeon Jiwoo.

"Why? What is it?", Lalisa asked.

"Jungkook just got a basketball scholarship to Big Hit University.", Jiwoo informed them, earning simultaneous gasps from the three girls.

"Isn't that like, the most renowned sports university in South Korea?", Jisoo asked.

"Mhm.", Jiwoo nodded.

"That's amazing.", Jennie commented.

"I've gotta go, Somi must be looking for me. I'll see you girls later.", Jiwoo waved at the girls before skipping off to find her best friend who she highly suspected was with her boyfriend, BM.

"That must be why he's been so happy lately.", Jisoo deduced.

"I should go congratulate him.", Lalisa decided.

Jisoo and Jennie nodded, knowing they wouldn't be able to change her mind anyway.

Lalisa skipped off to his locker, knowing she would definitely find him there, and with Taehyung as well.

"Hey Jungkook. Hey Taehyung.", Lalisa greeted both boys when she got to Jungkook's locker.

"Hey Lis.", Taehyung smiled while Jungkook just nodded to acknowledge her greeting.

"I heard about your scholarship, congratulations.", Lalisa smiled at him.

"Uh, thanks.", Jungkook smiled back.

Lalisa guessed he must have been truly happy about it since he even smiled at he whereas he used to usually not give her any reactions when she approached him.

"Our Jungkookie really deserves it. He's worked so hard so this is like a dream come true for him.", Taehyung placed his arm around Jungkook's neck and ruffled his hair.

"Stop it.", Jungkook pouted, a small blush rising on his cheeks.

Lalisa had to admit, that was the cutest sight she had ever seen.

"Aww, our Jungkookie is blushing.", Taehyung cooed, pinching Jungkook's cheek.

"Taehyung.", Jungkook whined, his blush deepening.

Lalisa could not believe she was witnessing Jungkook in this situation. Cute Jungkook was the best Jungkook she was yet to see.

"Well I'm glad you had it. You really deserve it. Congratulations.", Lalisa congratulated him once again.

"Thanks Lisa. I really appreciate it.", Jungkook grinned at her, his bunny smile showing.

"We'll see you later in class.", Jungkook ruffled her hair before leaving with a smirking Taehyung.

Lalisa couldn't help but squeal out loud, earning her questioning looks from the surrounding students but she couldn't care less.

Jungkook had just smiled at her, bunny smiled at her specifically. And he even ruffled her hair.

Indeed, Lalisa was terribly happy with her life.
