Jungkook was having a really bad day.

First of all, he failed in both his math and science tests. If he didn't have the scholarship, he would surely have a had time in getting into Big Hit University. Yes, his scholarship.

This reminded him of Lalisa.

Secondly, he had hurt his ankle (although it wasn't a serious injury) as he was running to basketball practice but due to his leg, he had to sit practice out.

He had to sit on the bleachers. His mind couldn't help but think back to when two figures sat here.

Once again, he was reminded of Lalisa.

Unfortunately for him, Taehyung said he had some business and hence couldn't leave with him.

Honestly, he just needed good and warm company and Taehyung was his best source.

Jungkook finally arrived at his locker and opened it. He closed his eyes and stuck his palm out, waiting for the familiar yellow piece of paper to drop in his palm.

3...

5...

10...seconds.

Jungkook finally opened his eyes, staring blankly at his empty palm.

For a moment, his brows furrowed, wondering why a yellow sticky note didn't drop, until he realized.

Because of him, because of his words, the only person who cheered him up without even knowing had been driven away from him.

But it shouldn't hurt him because that is what he wanted. That is what he had wanted for the past 5 years since she confessed to him.

Sighing, he closed his locker before heading out of the school building, his mood even worse.

Taehyung was tapping his foot impatiently as he kept glancing at the door, waiting for the expected guest to arrive.

It also didn't help that three pair of eyes were on him, looking more annoyed than expectant.

"When is he going to get here?", Jennie finally snapped.

"He will be. Any minute now.", Taehyung said, hoping not to trigger the mighty Jennie Kim.

"You've been saying that for the past 15 minutes.", Jisoo quipped.

"Have I?"

"Taehyung-", Jennie was interrupted by the chime of the bell on the door which sounded whenever someone entered or left the Froyo Hut.

All four pair of eyes turned towards the door as a guy in a red and blue bomber jacket, an orange shirt that had seen better days, a pair of bleached blue jeans and green sneakers.

"Don't tell me...", Jennie trailed off as the guy approached their table.

"Taehyung, right?", the guy asked when he got to their table.

It took Taehyung a good 20 seconds before he responded. Probably longer if Lisa didn't kick his foot under the table.

"Uh yeah, that's me.", Taehyung nodded.

"Oh great. I'm the guy Wonpil talked about.", the guy smiled.

"Oh, you're..", Taehyung trailed off, not because he didn't know his name, but because he was shocked.

"Um, I was set up on a date with Lalisa? Which one of you beautiful ladies might that be?"

All three girls stared dumbly at him before Lalisa finally answered him.

"Um, that would be me."

"Oh, that's wonderful. I'm-"

"Wait. You're the guy Taehyung set me up with?", Lalisa asked again just to confirm.

"Technically yes. As I was saying, my name is-"

"Um, I actually have somewhere to be. Isn't that right girls?", Lalisa turned to both girls as she began preparing to leave.

"Yes.", Jennie played along.

"How could we forget?", Jisoo stood up with the the rest of them.

"Oh that's unfortunate.", the guy's smile dropped a little.

"It is, isn't it?", Lalisa feigned an apologetic smile, subtly kicking Taehyung under the table so he also got up and agreed.

"Maybe we can try this next time-"

"We'll see. However, we really need to get going.", Lalisa began moving forward.

"Well, if you say so-"

"We say so.", the three girls immediately cut him off before heading out, Taehyung trailing behind them as he sent the boy an apologetic smile.

Immediately the four where a good distance away from the Froyo Hut, the three girls turned to the only guy among them

"Really? You were supposed to get me a date and that was your best? Where did you even meet that guy?", Lalisa asked and Taehyung scratched his nape.

"Actually, I don't really know him. Technically, he's my friend's cousin's neighbour.", Taehyung chuckled nervously.

"Unbelievable.", Jennie sighed.

"Um, I'm really sorry but I gotta go. I've got to meet Yoongi in about 10 minutes.", Jisoo said after she received a text message.

"What? Why?", Jennie asked.

"He asked for my help with one of his music samples a few days ago.", Jisoo sighed internally as she saw the two girls smirk.

"Oh? I never knew you and my brother had gotten so close. To the fact that he's even allowing you to listen to his music, even to help him."

"Exactly Jennie. As far as I know, the only other people Yoongi has allowed listen to his music is us and maybe his professors at college and also, the only girls he has ever considered talking to are Jennie and I. So..., how did you happen?"

"I can't handle you both right now. I need to go. I'll see you guys at school."

"Okayy.", Lalisa nodded, a teasing glint in her eyes.

Jisoo was a few metres away from the group when she heard Jennie shout from behind her...

"Make sure to treat him to lamb skewers! Yoongi loves em!"

Jisoo shook her head, a smile playing on her lips.

"I'm gonna go to the dance studio.", Lalisa said before waving at the two and walking away.

Jennie puffed out a breath of air.

"So, what are we gonna do?", she turned to her companion.

"We are gonna go on a date.", Taehyung cheekily grinned at her, taking her hand in his, interlocking their fingers.

"What?!"

"I heard there's a new Gucci sale at the mall."

"Lead the way."
