Sage's POV
"Where's Sage and Octavia?" I wake up to someone shaking me roughly and open my eyes to see Murphy standing over me and Bellamy looking through the hatch from the lower level. Since I didn't expect him to be right up in my face I jump slightly and accidentally wake up Octavia who attempts to roll back over and sleep. Judging by the look on Bellamy's face she won't be able to. "What is it? Did something happen last night?" I gently shake her awake and ignore the disapproving glare Bellamy is directing at me and his sister. Looking around for my shirt I remember I used it to clean Octavia and Jasper's wounds yesterday just as Murphy throws me a new one. I glare at Bellamy as he's completely ignoring my question while we wait for Octavia to get her jacket and shoes on. "There's no sign of Trina and Pascal. We were just doing a head count when we couldn't find you guys either. But like I asked you're obviously taking good care of her," Bellamy says coldly. The sound of someone screaming and groaning in pain can be heard as I make my way towards the hatch and I could tell it was getting on everyone's nerves even more today. The one that worried me the most was Murphy as he has always had a short fuse and judging by his grip on his knife he was ready to kill Jasper, even though he had no control over it. As we walk outside they both hang around for a second before they ask me to join them on a patrol around the drop ship. They also ask for Octavia to stay behind which put both of us on edge. Knowing how protective Bellamy is over her we knew this could be a way for him to get back at me or that he genuinely wants me to go on a patrol with them. I turn around to tell Octavia that I'll be alright as she starts to voice her worry about what Bellamy and Murphy could have planned, but I could tell my words didn't help. She goes to help make the wall and I walk a short distance with them until we reach a tree with a few knives stuck in it, "So why did you bring me here?" I look over and see that where she decided to work was extremely close to where we were standing and my worries died down slightly because of that. Bellamy walks back over to me with the knives in his hands and hands me one before he throws it at the tree, looking at me and expecting me to do the same. "If you're going to be around my sister more than I want to make sure you know how to protect yourself more than just hand-to-hand combat. Show me what you got." Without even looking I throw the knife at the tree and it stays in place right in the middle of the makeshift target he made. I smirk and cross when I see his jaw drop as he looks between me and the tree, but what makes the situation better is the laughter coming from Murphy. "I told you that you didn't have to worry about her not being able to protect Octavia. She did this all the time in Earth Skills class." Looking over his shoulder I see the group working on the fence with Octavia stop and stare at me with the same look on their face as Bellamy. Just in case he thought it was dumb luck I take the axe out of his hand and do the same, this time the axe knocking the knife out of the tree as it lands in the same spot.
Atom walks over and breaks the silence as he voices his annoyance with Jasper and all of the noise he's making. Now that everyone stopped working his groans and screams are crystal clear and the tension in this part of the clearing is at an all time high. He says that the noise he's making isn't helping the morale around here and a few of the other men around us agree. All Bellamy can think of as a solution is getting everyone food, but food can only do so much when it won't solve the Trina and Pascal problem. But somehow he finds a very temporary solution to the issue, that they went looking around and got lost, fixing the issue of people not listening and roaming around freely at the same time. The men have reached their breaking point with all the noise and start walking towards the woods to go hunting. I see Bellamy turn and tell Murphy to stay behind since camp can't be left unprotected which did not go well as he turns and throws his knife at the drop ship. Not wanting to be a part of that mess I walk into the drop ship to go check on Clarke as she hasn't left Jasper's side since after the fire three days ago. As I got closer it sounded like she was busy as she yelled at people to hold him down as she did something to cause his yelling to become louder. As much as I didn't mind the kid when we worked together on the Arc I also couldn't stand listening to him and his constant screaming and I turned to go find something else to do. I saw a group struggling to move a big branch over to their section of the watt and decided to help them in hopes it distracted me enough to make the day go faster. It did for a while until that section of the wall was fixed and everyone working on it called it a day and aimlessly walked around camp. Sitting down outside the drop ship I lean back and close my eyes just long enough for Octavia to sneak up on me. Whispering in my ear she says,"I could really use a break from this place. Wanna take a trip to the butterfly field?" Her hands wrap around my waist and slowly make their way to my thighs where she grips onto them tightly. I open my eyes and turn to face her and start to lean in when suddenly someone pulls me away and drags me into a tent. I hear Octavia yelling at whoever is dragging me as she follows us and when I'm thrown to the ground I can finally see who it was, her brother. I see Murphy in the tent too but by the looks of it Bellamy's actions caught him off guard as he jumps to my side and helps me up. "You can't keep everyone away from me! Leave me and her out of your little power trip. Out of everyone here you're worried about her? She saved my life, Bell!" Jasper starts screaming again and I feel Octavia now dragging me out of the tent to go check on him. As she drags me into the drop ship I shake my head at how dragging people like this must be something all Blake's do. Ever since landing on Earth they have been the only one's to do it without hesitation and it seemed so natural to them.
