Sage's POV
"Come in Arc station," Raven says repeatedly as the rain outside hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. All night it's been pouring and everyone in the drop ship is becoming restless. Well almost everyone that is. I look down to see Octavia still soundly asleep all the while with no signs of waking up soon even as Raven starts yelling into the radio. The woman groans as she sees Monty is also asleep and nervously asks me for some help because it required me to leave Octavia's side. Nudging Clarke she helps me slide by backpack under the girls head while I slip out from under her as smoothly as possible. People keep crowding around the woman and making her more agitated than she already was and as soon as I stepped behind her they all backed off. Well most of them did, a random boy muttering, "Are you sure you even have the right frequency," as if he knew better than the best up and coming mechanic the Arc has seen in years. I push him away from her and genuinely ask her just in case everyone around her makes her forget to check the frequency, these conditions would rattle and overwhelm anyone easily and we don't need her frustration to grow on top of it all. She nods and shows me the channel she's on and it is indeed the correct one and now I understand why she's frustrated, there's no reason for this to be happening. Clarke now joins us telling me Octavia is up now but is possibly looking for her brother, "Raven you can do this. Okay?" She joins me in comforting and encouraging the brilliant women in front of us and soon leaves us alone to go keep an eye on everyone. I allow Raven to try a few more times as this probably is helping her figure out what is blocking us from talking to the Arc and pay more attention to people crowding her or trying to disrupt what she's doing. But as soon as Clarke finishes her rounds she crouches down next to Finn and completely distracts Raven as she now is watching her every move, seeing the blonde clean the wound around the knife. I step in between her and Clarke, immediately earning a glare from her, but my glare in return reminds her what he would want her to focus on and she tries her best to refocus. Soon enough it seems as though she has gotten through but it is still cutting in and out and a deafening sound of static can be heard at most times, until she hones in a little more. "Abby Griffin, we need your help. One of our people was stabbed by a grounder," I say into the radio as Clarke keeps a close eye on Finn, both her and Raven tearing up as we hear someone speaking back to us. As if not paying attention to my words Jaha asks if there are any survivors and if Earth is survivable which makes Raven and I scoff at his lack of care or attention. I sarcastically reply to him and hear many different voices in the background, making it hard to understand what they might be saying, the signal not at all strong enough to handle it all. "Everyone shut up! One at a time and preferably Abby! Finn is dying!"
When we wait for a reply it sounds as if there's an argument taking place between a man and a woman and some scuffling. Once the signal becomes clear again it's easy to tell between who and I clench my jaw as I listen to my father yell at Abby. "Jaha get my father out of there or tell him to shut up please we have an important situation here that he doesn't need to distract Abby from!" I hear him scoff as he finally stops yelling and allows us to talk about Finn's condition without any distractions. She asks what's going on as she also gets patched into medical on the Arc, the question I hoped Jaha would avoid being asked and making me have no idea how to reply, thankfully Clarke now taking over the conversation. Telling her mom that the knife is still in Finn's chest she pauses right before telling Jaha about Wells as she has no idea how to tell him and settles with just flat out telling him. He quickly excuses himself and Abby starts to talk Clarke through the procedure but of course the signal starts to cut in and out yet again with perfect timing. From what we can hear from the Arc, Raven's suspicions are correct as a hurricane is parked right on top of us, making it hard for the signal to get up into space because of its massive size and power. Before her mom could continue she asks me to find Octavia so she can bring us some of Monty's moonshine because the two of them are the only ones who know where it's hidden and other supplies like water, cloth, and the antibiotic we used on Jasper. Finding Octavia was the easy part as she immediately went outside to one of the tents to find the moonshine, leaving me to find cloth from the extra clothes we should have, but with how often it seemed that people were changing clothes it seems as though very few pieces were actually clean enough to use. Just as I get back downstairs and Octavia walks back inside a huge clap of thunder is heard and Clarke wants to get the doors shut so we can hear Abby better, but like usual there's a problem. "Monty, Jasper, and Bellamy aren't back with the grounder yet. They went looking for things in his cave in hopes he'd point stuff out to them but I doubt it's going well considering he can't speak English," Octavia says. Harper is tasked with finding where Raven is with the suture needle and closing the door as Clarke isn't in the mood to wait for them and Finn's condition is slowly getting worse. We still don't have anything to use as stitching and Octavia pulls me upstairs with her to get wiring from the ceiling that we used on our tent. Raven sternly warns us about the blue wires as those power the solar panels on the roof unless we want to have fun being electrocuted making me laugh and joke with her, "How did you know that I liked being electrocuted? Have you been stalking me Reyes?" I look down the hatch and see her flipping me off as she goes back to the radio seeming conflicted between staying next to Finn or to keep the radio connected properly, finally choosing the latter. Octavia senses my worry and sends me back down since she knows what wire to avoid and which ones she can cut, but as soon as I climb down the ladder I wish I stayed upstairs. The three missing men finally walk inside with the grounder again, finally allowing us to close the door but now everyone is able to see the grounder for the first time. They snuck out early enough that no one saw him so now with everyone inside the moods shifts considerably as they throw the man to the floor roughly, allowing me to see he's covered in blood and bruises.
