Sage's POV
Since we have no idea how long he'll be unconscious or how he'll act when he wakes up we tie restraints around Lincoln's arms and legs just like we did before. Octavia was visibly uncomfortable by this but she reluctantly helped us tie him up securely because her and Bellamy won't be strong enough to keep him under control when I go get Clarke from the Arc. All of us are on edge especially Octavia so when I make my way out of the dropship I don't say goodbye to either of them. Just before I could start running I felt someone grab my arm and pull me into them, "You didn't say goodbye," she mumbles against my chest. She looks up at me after pulling away slightly and the look on her face sends a pang of guilt throughout my body which makes me pull her back in for a kiss this time. She tries to deepen the kiss so I push her away playfully and give her a look before taking off running before she can convince me to stay just a little longer. While running through the woods I quickly noticed something seemed off, that it seemed too calm and I felt like no one was watching me. That feeling only happened once before and it was before the grounders attacked the drop ship for us trespassing into their territory when we landed. So this time it must mean that they're preparing for another attack and it's all because of Finn losing his mind while looking for Clarke and killing people in that village. Surprisingly when I get to camp the front gate is open allowing me to sneak into the huge crowd gathered at the ships entrance without being seen. My suspicions of an attack are confirmed when I see Abby and Jaha talking about how we all need to pack up our belongings and leave before they attack at first light tomorrow. Once again someone thinks that running away will solve our problems. I easily find Clarke but wait until they're done talking to make my presence known. She goes to run after her mom so I lunge and grab her arm and thankfully stop her taking her by surprise because no one knew where we were. "We're at the drop ship. You need to come back with me right now," I say quietly and right away she agrees before fully understanding why but she knows I'll tell her on the way. I go back to the gate but see that it's closed so I go to Raven and tell her to shut it down in ten minutes so Clarke has enough time to get a bag packed along with sneaking out a med kit.
Just like I planned Clarke gets to the gate right as Raven shuts it off and we easily slip out without being seen yet again. When we get far enough into the woods she finally asks me what's going on and no matter how much I prepared myself to tell her what happened it still didn't make sense. "Long story short we found Lincoln. But he isn't Lincoln anymore, the Mountain Men turned him into a reaper," I say which in turn made her ask questions I had no answer to. The only one we can both provide an answer to though was that at first we thought that reapers were just naturally occurring things but somehow the Mountain Men have even better technology than we thought and actually created them. When we finally reach the drop ship I warn her again that he isn't like he usually is and that anyone or anything he sees he tries to kill. But that didn't stop her from jumping back in fear when she saw him, even with the heavy restraints we tied him up with. Octavia and Bellamy jump up to help us into the room and give Clarke more information than I could provide with so much going on around me when I got back to camp. One thing we failed to notice before in the bunker was that his eyes are a bright red and now with the bright light above him we can see them glowing with rage, "Can you help him," Octavia asks weakly. Looking him over once again just to make her feel better Clarke tries to choose her words carefully but nothing she can say will calm us all down, "I have no idea." Again she brings up that we originally thought that the Mountain Men only controlled them and didn't create them but that opens another issue, what they could possibly be doing to our friends. The whole time we've been here all he's done is scream and fight against the restraints but while we all stopped to think of what we could possibly do to help him he suddenly stops and starts convulsing. Then I remember that we shot him and I pointed out the wound on his leg to Clarke but she seems to have found something else on his neck and asked me to move my flashlight up so she could see. Through the blood, sweat, and how much he's moving we barely catch a glimpse of what seems to be needle marks on his neck which could possibly mean he's being drugged.
