Prologue

"Hey Sleeping Beauty, wake up or get out."

I groaned and threw my pillow at the oversized 20 year old in the doorway.

"You'd never kick me out Darrel and you know it. Two Bit would murder you." I replied, my speech ever so slurred.

"Smart ass." He mumbled and flipped on the light.

"WAKEY WAKEY EGGS AND BAKEY MY SWEET MELODY" My brother, that Two Bit kid I mentioned before, was yelling as he threw himself on the couch next to me.

"Two Bit." I whined like a 5 year old. "It's Saturday."

"Oh boo hoo. The whole gang is here and alive!" He nearly shouted in my face.

"What's the time?" I asked, rubbing whatever sleep was in my eyes away.

"6 am." And with that, he was gone.

Soo hi guys! This is my first Outsiders Fanfic and I'm sorry if it starts out kinda lameo. If you have seen the movie or read the book, it picks up where the book stops, with a few twists that I put in. Except Johnny and Dallas are around. Lol.

So yeah. Uhh Chapter 1 will be supa long I promise, this was just the little prologue to get you in le mood.

This book has romance in it! And it is not from Ponyboy's POV, it's from Mel's. Every now and then we'll have a little POV change but otherwise it follows Mel and her story.

And the only difference from the beginning is that Mel was in all of the events that happened in the book. She's been friends with the gang since she's been 10 & Two Bit has been 13.
