Chapter 27

|| Dally's POV ||

"Don't leave me, I promise I'll change," I pleaded, grabbing her small hands in mine.

"You lost your chance, Dallas, I'm sorry, you can't be changed," she spat, walking away.

"Please! I promise!"

"Dallas? Dallas!"

I jolted awake and looked around. An all white room, multiple cords stuck into me.

"You had us all scared to death, Dal," I glanced to the side to see Johnny sitting next me, looking at his hands.

"Johnny man, I'm sorry. I needed to get to her," my voice dropped, and I clutched my aching head. "What happened, man?"

"You over dosed, Dal. I don't even know with what, but you somehow managed to pull through," Johnny whispered.

"I couldn't help it, Johnny. She may have been way to young and infatuated with someone else, but I can't let her go," I struggled to hold back tears.

Johnny is the only person I would cry in front of.

"Dally, she's gone, man. You have to let her go."

"How? Every waking moment is spent thinking of her, dead or alive."

"Dallas, that's not the point. The point is, she's not yours, nor will she ever be. It's not I'll ever get her. Hell, Pony won't even get her. She's gone Dal, and nothing can bring her back."

I just stared at him. He had this crazed look in his watery eyes, probably similar to my eyes. I played with my fingers, imagining her small, fragile fingers in mine. I closed my eyes and soaked up everything about her.

Don't forget me, Dallas.

I looked around, then smiled.

I promise.

Two more chapters till this is done + an epilogue! That's kinda depressing :(

I'm gonna write another one, but I have zer000000 ideas. soooooo if you want a specific one, comment! I'll choose one persons name and favorite greased to do my next fan fic on.
