| Mel's POV |
Pony, Johnny, and I were all just hanging out and laughing (along with the rest of the gang) when a knock on the door echoed through the house.
"NOT IT." Everyone but myself yelled.
"Shit." I grumbled and made my way to the door.
When I opened the door, I was quite surprised to see Cherry Valance standing there.
"What the hell?" My shock was over come with anger. How dare she show up here? "What do you want?"
"Calm down, I just want to talk to Ponyboy."
I clenched my fists. "Sorry he's not he-" but I was cut off by Ponyboy himself.
"Hey Cherry, why are you here?" He asked, leaning against the door frame, confused.
"Can I talk to you outside, please?" She gave him this look that made me want to throw up.
He looked at me then back at Cherry. "Sure."
"Whatever." I shut the door on them and sulked back into the living room.
"Who was that?" Two Bit asked.
"Well, I'm guessing from her demeanor it was Cherry Valance, but I could be wrong!" Soda yelled from the floor.
"Ding ding ding." I grumbled into Johnny's shoulder.
"Someone's got it badd." Steve mocked me.
"Shutup!" I groaned.
| Pony's POV |
When Cherry showed up, I was surprised to say the least. Mel certainly didn't look very happy either.
"So, uh, how do you know where I live?" I asked her.
"I asked Randy the other day. Anyway, how you doing, Ponyboy."
"I'm fine. Why are we out here?" I was getting impatient. I just wanted to get back to my friends and Mel.
"Oh right! Well I was just wondering if maybe, you wanted to go to the movies tonight?"
My blood ran cold. What? No. She didn't like me, she was just using me and I liked Mel.
"I don't know, why?" It sounded stupid but I really didn't understand.
"I don't know, Marcia didn't want to go and Bob isn't here to take me." So she was using me.
"Sorry, I think I have plans, go try hitting on some other greaser. Bye Cherry." I was angry by this point.
"Ponyboy!" She yelled angrily at me but I ignored her and shut the door in her face.

This is kinda a small chapter but I think Ima write one more.
Finally Pony ditched Cherry! I couldn't wait to write this part! And obviously Mel was jealous ;)
*cues Nick Jonas's Jealous*
Well that's pretty much it. Look for Chapter 13 tonight!
