"Y/n," Kairi said, breaking the peaceful silence. I looked over at him slowly. "Let's go inside." He said before getting out the car and walking to my side and opening the door for me. He held out his hand for me to take. Such a gentleman. I took his hand and I held it as we walked into my house. He sat down in my dad's seat and I laid my head on his lap as he played with my hair. "What do you think of our friendship group then?" Kairi asked as he looked down at me. "Robert and Aloe Vera are really quiet but sweet. Roshaun is really funny. Monkey is pretty chill. Me and Dino are becoming close, I think. We talk a lot in Spanish together," I answered. "And what about me? What do you think of me?" He asked me. "You?" I asked confused, he nodded. "You're my favourite peaches but dont tell anyone I said that." I smiled at him. He smiled down at me as he ran his fingers through my hair. "What about you? What do you think of the group?" I asked, curious. "Mattia and Ale are my favourites," he paused thinking, "after you of course Bambi. Me and Robert are like bros but I'm not as close with Alvaro and Roshaun. Besides, I've heard they're moving to Florida." He continued. "Oh..." I said, surprised as I hadn't heard that they were moving before today. "That's sad, I'll miss them, when are they going?" I added. "2 weeks," He sighed. I sat up and sat beside him. "Why'd you get up?" He whined. "We have a project to work on," I told him as I got up and tried to pull him up. He eventually got up and we moved up to my room. "What is the project actually on?" I asked. "Hilter and the concentration camps, we've got to create a presentation on what we think about him and his beliefs," He explained as we got to work.
At 7pm, Jane rang Kairi telling him dinner was ready so we made our way to Kairi's. It was lasagne for dinner, I loved it. As we ate, we spoke.
"Y/n, how are things?" Jane asked me. "They're getting better," I smiled, "Kairi has been helping me a lot," I added and looked over at Kairi who was smiling to himself. What's he thinking about now? "What are you doing this weekend?" Jane asked "We're all planning to go to Mattia's for a sleepover on Friday then play xbox all day Saturday. Did Kairi ask you if he could go?" I asked. I looked at Kairi who wasn't even listening. I smiled. "No he didn't but you can let him know I said yes. Tell him I told him he has to watch out for you too since they're all boys, when he gets out of his little world there," She chuckled. "Will do," I smiled.
We finished up eating and went to help Jane with the washing up. "No it's okay, are you staying around for a bit though?" She asked. "If Kai wants me to," I replied and walked off to Kairi who was laying on the sofa after eating too much. "Peaches?" I said to get him to notice I was there. "Yes Bambi?" He responded as he slowly sat up and looked at me. "Are we hanging tonight or are you busy?" I asked nervously. "No, we can hang," He said as he immediately got up and grabbed my hand. "Mum, me and y/n are off to my room. Bye," He shouted as he dragged me upstairs. We got to his room and he shut the door. He then flopped onto his bed and faced the ceiling. I stood watching him, not knowing what to do. He then sat up when he realised I was still stood their. He patted the space next to him, indicating for me to sit down and I did. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him with his hand on my waist. I shivered at his touch. "Are you cold?" He asked, realising that I shivered. I shook my head quickly. "Bambi what's wrong?" He asked. "It's morning peaches," I replied as I smiled at him. "No it's not, tell me," He insisted. "But it's embarrassingggg," I whined. "And you think I'm going to judge you?" He said as he raised his eyebrows at me. I shook my head. "Then tell me." "Fine," I sighed. "I got nervous when you touched me," I said very quickly and looked down at my hands. I felt Kairi put his finger on my chin and lift my head to face him. "Why?" he asked as he studied my face. "I don't know," I said quietly, avoiding looking at him. "Why aren't you looking at me?" He asked, concerned. "Why do you want me look at you?" I smirked. "Stop playing games y/n, you confused me," he sighed as he let go of my face and flopped back on his bed, facing the ceiling. I rolled over and laid down, my face on my hands, staring at him. "First you don't want to look at me, now you can't take your eyes off me," He chuckled. "I'm just trying to figure you out," I replied, as he sat up and rested his back against the headboard. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I mean, you know quiet a bit about me, yet I know nothing about you." I said as I inched myself towards and turned around and sat beside him. "Well what do you want to know?" He asked as he looked over at me. "Everything," I smiled, "I want to know everything about you," I repeated. "Okay then, ask me questions." He stated. "erm ok," I said as I began to think. "How many girlfriends have you had?" I asked. "Two, they both cheated on me. How many boyfriends have you had?" He asked. I see you asking questions too. "Just Mar." I replied bluntly. "Why'd you guys split up?" He asked. "He went out to parties every weekend and shag a different girl. We were together 6 months and I didn't find out until the end." I shrugged. "You didn't deserve that, you deserve to be treated like a queen," Kairi smiled as he looked at me softly. "Oh well, shit happens," I replied, shrugging my shoulders again. "Next question, erm why did you move here and from where?" I asked. "We moved from LA, Mum was planning on moving to live beside her best friend and when they died, Mum felt more of a need to move, for you," He smiled, still looking at me. "I'm really glad I moved," He whispered. "Im glad you did too," I whispered back as I rested my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and placed his hand on my waist. I shivered at his touch again and he chuckled to himself. He pulled me closer and we sat like that in silence.
"I should probably walk home unless you want to stay here," He said quietly. "Can I stay here?" I said as I lifted my head from his shoulder and looked at him. "I'll go ask Mum but she'll probably say yes." He got up and left. Why is he so nice to me? I don't get it. Maybe he does actually care about me. Kairi came back into the room with a smile on his face. He disappeared into his closet and came back out with his favourite orange shadowhill hoodie. "You can stay, and you can wear this to sleep in if you want as long as I get it back in the morning." He smiled at me. I got up from the bed and ran up to him and stopped in front him. I took the hoodie from him and smiled at him. "Damn I thought you were gonna hug me," He mumbled as I walked past him into the bathroom. I turned around and wrapped my arms around him from behind. I could tell he was smiling. I let go after a minute then walked back into the bathroom. I took my clothes off and put on Kairi's hoodie which reached low on my thighs. I walked back into Kairi's room and found him laying on his bed on his phone. He put his phone down when he saw me walk in and opened his arms. I walked closer to him and laid beside him. He wrapped his arms around me and I shivered. His touch makes me so nervous. I heard him chuckle again. Why does he do that? I'll never know. I drifted off to sleep in his arms.
I woke up the next morning and saw Kairi waking up beside me. "Morning bambi," He mumbled. He opened his eyes and kissed my cheek. "Hi Peaches," I giggled. He smiled to himself and pushed himself off the bed. "You don't have any clean clothes do you?" He asked. I shook my head. "You can wear some of mine." He said before walking into his closet. He came back out with some clothes in his hands. "Wanna match?" He asked. A smile appeared on my face as I nodded and got up from my bed. "Are you showering this morning?" He asked. "Nah, I'll shower tonight." I replied. "Okay, I'll shower and change in the bathroom, you change in here okay?" He suggested. I nodded and he walked to his bathroom and shut the door. I quickly changed and sat on his bed on my phone. He showered then came out in the outfit matching mine.

"We do be rocking the fits though," He laughed. "We do be indeed," I chuckled. "Come on, we need to pick up the guys," I said as I grabbed his hand. We said bye to Jane then got into my car and drove to Starbucks, picking up the boys on the way. "Awh look at you two matching!" Mattia shouted as he got in the car. "You guys do be cute though," Ale laughed. Me and Kairi both giggled. His giggle do be cute though.
We were sitting in my car eating when someone knocked on my car window and I looked up and saw Mar. I rolled my window down. "What do you want?" I snapped. "Don't give me that attitude babe," He smirked. "I'm not your babe, now leave," I bluntly stated. "But I want to hang with you, I miss you," He said, still smirking. "Tough shit, you lost your chance, you don't get a second. Now leave," I said, slightly raising my voice. "Okay babe, see you later," He blew me a kiss. I pretended to catch it and drop it in my rubbish bag. The boys all laughed as Mar walked off. "Ohh so you're a badass now?" Ale laughed. "No monkey, just a bitch to those who do me wrong," I laughed.
School was a drag, boring as fuck. Nothing happened after Mar. I was currently sitting on my bed when I got a call from Ale inviting me around. I decided to go so I texted Kai telling him where I was going and that I wouldn't be coming for tea. He read it but didn't reply. Did I do something wrong?
