Y/n pov:

Me and Kairi have finished school now. We've been together a whole four years and go to Harvard University together, sharing an apartment.

"I'm home," Kairi shouted as he got back from work. He works Saturdays and Tuesdays and I work Thursdays and Fridays, since they're the days we have free. We still do date night on Wednesdays and we spend every Sunday together. It's our last week of University and then we're graduating this Friday and moving on.
"Peaches!" I shout happily as I run into his arms. He wraps his arms around my waist and smiles before kissing me.
"You missed me that much?" He giggled.
"I always miss you," I giggle.
"I know, you always tell me," He chuckles. "What's for tea?" He asks as we walk into the kitchen.

"Spaghetti and meatballs," I say happily

"Spaghetti and meatballs," I say happily. I finish dishing up and he wraps his arms around my waist from behind.
"What's the plan for after graduation?" He asks nervously.
"Marriage," I joke.
"Really?" He chuckles nervously.
"Babies would be cool too," I joke again.
"Stop messing," He groans.
"A house then, I need a bath," I groan.
"We'll stay at a hotel for a treat after we graduate finished as a treat," He says softly. I nod happily.
"What kind of house do you want?" He asks nervously.
"Suburban, it'll be quiet," I say softly as I sprinkle cheese on the plates.
"Good neighbourhood for children," He whispers.
"No sex before marriage," I giggle.
"That's not what you said last night," He whispers.
"Lies, I'm a virgin," I giggle and turn around in his arms.
"I'm going to take your virginity all over again then," He smirks.
"Do you not want to marry me?" I frown.
"What gave you that idea?" He frowned nervously.
"You just keep shutting it down as an option, it's okay if you're not ready yet," I say softly.
"I do what to marry you y/n, but I'm going to be the one who asks," He smiles. I nod and he lets go of me. I pick up the plates and we move into the living room.

"I'll miss our apartment though," I sigh

"I'll miss our apartment though," I sigh.
"Y/n, you're rich, you can keep it if you really want to," He chuckles.
"I won't be rich after I buy our house," I chuckle.
"Then we'll be a normal, working, newly married couple," He smiles.
"We won't be married when we move in," I chuckle. He nods and then loses himself in thought as we eat on the sofa.
"Bambi," He says softly.
"Mhm," I hum.
"When was the last time you cut?" He asks nervously. Fuck. I stayed silent. "I found your razors in the bathroom with still wet blood on them. Meaning it was yesterday. Why?" He asked softly.
"It still hurts sometimes," I whisper.
"You're supposed to talk to me about it y/n. I'm here for you," He says softly.
"Kai we barely spend time together anymore. We're always so busy with Uni, and then work on top of that," I say guiltily.
"It that why?" He asks softly.
"No Kai, it's not," I whisper.
"Why then?" He whispers.
"Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if one event happened differently? Like my parents got to LA? Or Jaden didn't think I died? Or you didn't move here? Or you didn't save me that first time I attempted? Or if I never left? Or if you never cheated? Or if I never fell in love with Mattia? Or if Mattia never died? Or if Luna never died?" I tell him as I list the questions I ask myself. I look into his eyes. "Or if you never loved me?" I whisper.
"Even if all of that did happen, I still think we'd end up being each other's," He whispers.
"What makes you think that?" I ask confused. He moves our half eaten plates onto the coffee table and moves closer. He takes me hand and puts our finger tips together before intertwining our fingers.
"See how our hands fit together perfectly," He whispers. He leans in and kisses me. "See how our lips fit together perfectly," He whispers. "Or how when we cuddle, our bodies fit together perfectly and neither is uncomfortable," He whispers. "Or how I'm so in love with you that I can't imagine a life where I wasn't," He whispers.
"Or how you know how to make me feel better even when I feel like giving up," I whisper. He pulls me onto his lap.
"Or how you weight the perfect amount that you're not too light that I don't know you're there but you weight just enough to know you're there without you squishing me," He whispers.
"Or how I'm the only girl who would ever consider going out with a guy only am inch taller than me," I whisper.
"Or how we have the best sex in the world," He whispers.
"Or how you're perfect," I whisper.
"Or how we're perfect for each other," He whispers.
"Or how we'd have cute babies," I tease.
"Oh my are you pregnant or something?" He groans.
"No, I'm just messing with you," I giggle and get off his lap. I grab the plates and we finish eating.
