I woke up wrapped in his arms, his back was now pressed against the back of the coach, his head resting on the arm, I was laying in front of him entangled in his embrace. It felt warm and comforting in his arms, my headache had subsided to barely even a tinge of pain.
I rest my head under his chin, his heart beat against my chest was nice. His embrace tightened around me holding me closer to him. His embrace felt safe and inviting, I could almost fall back asleep in his embrace but I felt slight movement followed by a, "you awake." He said in a hushed tone. "Yeah." I responded, laying my head back against the couch. "Finally it's been almost an hour since you fell asleep." He said with a little laugh. "Sorry, weren't you asleep too?" I questioned nuzzling my head back against his chest. "Nah, you fell asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake you up so I've been laying here ever since." He said moving a strand of hair from my face. "Well I'm awake now." I said sitting up, he moved beside me. I'd been laying around for too long and I needed to be active without pushing it too far, so I decided making lunch would be the easiest way to get up and move without pushing it too much. "Hungry?" I questioned turning to face him. "Is that a question kitten." He laughed looking over at me. I used the couch to stand up slowly, "woah, woah sit down I can do it." He said jumping up to help me stabilize myself. "I'm ok, I need to move around. I've been too lazy lately." I said walking over to the door frame of the kitchen and turning back to face him. "You're not lazy, you're in pain and I'm here for a reason." He said following me into the kitchen. "Too late I'm already in here." I said snickering and grabbing bread and deli meat. "Then I'm staying right here, I don't need you falling and breaking you or something else...either way Darry would kill me." He said laughing I joined in with slight giggles. "Here." I said sliding a plate across the counter towards him. "Woah!" He said lunging towards the counter to stop the plate from falling off the counter. "What was that for?" He questioned holding the plate in one hand. "I was testing your reflexes, Mr. I'm following you everywhere so you don't fall and hurt yourself." I said laughing and walking over to him. I leaned my back against the counter, I didn't know how hungry I was till I started eating. I basically shoveled it into my mouth. "You wanna breathe." Two said setting his plate down. "You ate breakfast, I haven't eaten since yesterday." I said putting the empty plate on the counter. "Fair enough." He snickered, putting an arm around my shoulder and walking me back to the couch. "You relax I'm gonna clean up the dishes I'll be right back." He said smiling and walking back into the kitchen. I smiled to myself, I'd never seen this side of him before...but I think it's growing on me.
