Persona 3 : Two Souls

Prologue - Two Students Enter

"Takuya!" A brunette girl called out to her brother who was sitting next to her, he was taken out of his music-induced trance and looked over to her.

She pointed to her ears, signaling him to take off his headphones which he quickly did.

"Are we there yet?" He asked plainly.

"Not yet..." She began and before she could continue her sentence he put his headphones back on. "Hey! I'm still speaking to you!" She complained.

"Sorry Miyuki, you know train rides bore me..." Takuya explained as he leaned back in his seat.

"Aren't you even a little excited to meet all our new dorm mates?" Miyuki asked with anticipation in her voice.

"Not really..." Takuya shot back with little emotion before closing his eyes and returning to his music.

After a bit longer on the ride, the two siblings found themselves at Tatsumi Port Island.

It was dark outside of the train station, which was to be expected given it had to be around midnight at this point.

"Guess no one's coming for us?" Takuya questioned as he slid down his headphones and placed his hands back in his pockets.

"Well there wasn't ever a guarantee that anyone would, lemme grab the map from my bag." Miyuki replied eagerly as she leaned over to pull from her pink luggage, taking out a folded-up piece of parchment that was the map they had of the location.

"Hope you can read it." Takuya joked.

"Of course I can, map's aren't as complicated as you think they are." Miyuki shot back.

"If you say so...I can never make heads or tails of them." He commented as he took the time to look around, the place was completely empty.

"Hey Miyu...." Takuya spoke.

"Yeah?" Miyuki asked as she looked up from the map.

"Isn't it a bit odd that no one else is around?" He asked.

"Not really, it's the middle of the night." She answered as she went back to surveying the map.

"I guess you have a point...." He accepted, but he still couldn't shake the feeling of something being wrong.

"FOUND IT! Follow me!" Miyuki shouted before grabbing her bag and running off.

"H-Hey!? Wait up!" Takuya exclaimed in a rushed panic, he stumbled forward as he was taken out of his thoughts and forced to run after his sister.

After a bit of running, the two found themselves outside of their new dorm.

"Well, this is it." Miyuki excitedly declared at the front of the double doors, she turned to see her blue-haired brother still trying to catch his breath.

"H-How do you have so much energy?" Takuya asked in between pant, to which Miyuki just smiled in response.

"Now let's get in there!" She happily exclaimed before tossing the doors open without a second thought.

Once both of them were inside, they were greeted with the well-furnished interior of the dorm's ground floor lounge area.

"Guess no one's up?" Miyuki said with a hint of disappointment in her voice.

"If they weren't, they might be now after your entrance...." Takuya commented with a groan as he took a look around.

"You're both late." said a voice that neither of the two knew, catching their attentions and causing them to turn towards the desk where a young boy stood.
