Persona 3 : Two Souls

Part 35 - Mochizuki

November 5th, Takuya didn't sleep last night as all he could think about was the previous night. He held on to Miyuki's digital camera that had been used to take that picture, he looked at that picture that was taken moments before everything went to shit.

There was a knock at his door, answering it Takuya saw that it was Akihiko.

"Hey..." Takuya said weakly.

"Hey, come up to the command room." Akihiko replied "There's something we need to discuss." Takuya accepted without a second thought, he followed his silver-haired friend up the stairs and into the command room where everyone else save for Mitsuru was already sitting.

"Mitsuru's not here?" Takuya asked "....I guess she has shit to deal with today."

"Of course, she's an only child...so there are a lot of matters she has to settle, like his funeral and the family business." Akihiko answered.

"Right..." Takuya said. "I...I hope she'll be okay..."

"What'll happen to Chidori?" Junpei asked, the two turned to look at him.

"No word on that at the moment, I imagine everyone's too busy with everything else to think about her." Akihiko answered "In fact, the entire Kirijo Group is probably in total shock after last night."

"So what, I'm supposed to wait for them to get their act together?" Junpei muttered to himself bitterly.

"What are we gonna do now?" Miyuki asked.

"Miyuki's right, we don't know where to go from here and have no lead on how to get rid of the Dark Hour now...if we even can." Yukari spoke.

"We don't even know what we're up against, what even is this Fall?" Ken added on.

"The Fall is the end of everything." Miyuki explained "I don't know everything about it but...I know that much." "The end of days..." Takuya added on.

"There are so many unanswered questions." Fuuka commented.

"Yeah...but sitting around ain't gonna do us any good." Junpei spoke up "I say since the Dark Hour's still around, we should keep hitting up Tartarus and train for whatever's next." Akihiko stood up in response "Agreed." he replied.

"Alright then...." Takuya spoke "...Since Mitsuru will be busy for a bit, I say we train in her absence so when she comes back we'll be ready." with those words everyone began to leave the room, but Miyuki stopped Yukari and now it was just those two girls in the room alone.

"Yuka-chan." Miyuki said "I snuck into the Chairman's room before the Kirijo Group came and cleaned it out...I got you this." she pulled out a computer hard drive and handed it to her pink-clad friend. "What is this?" she asked.

"It's Ikutsuki's hard drive." Miyuki answered "I thought....it might have your dad's video...the real one, not the one Ikutsuki changed around."

"Thanks..." Yukari said as she took the drive "I'll watch it after school, okay?" Miyuki smiled in response. "Glad to help." she said.

"You're the best, Miyuki." Yukari said before hugging the girl. "Thank you."

"Of course, you're my friend." Miyuki replied "You've been my biggest support since Shinji..." she began to trail off, her friend took note of this and hugged her tighter as a response. "I'm always going to be here for you, promise." she said.

"Yukari! Miyuki!" Takuya called as he opened the door to the room "We're gonna be late, let's go." the two girls separated from their hug and followed the blue-haired teen out of the room.
