Persona 3 : Two Souls

Part 29 - Open Your Heart

September 24th, school had started up again and Ms.Toriumi had informed the entire class that today the later half of classes would be cancelled and instead the student body would be working to clean up what remained of the school festival. Junpei was a tad annoyed considering they didn't even get to actually enjoy the damn festival but still had to do all the back breaking labor that was expected of them as if they had experienced it.

Toriumi's class was seperated into three groups, Takuya was in the same group as both Yukari and Junpei. All three of them were sent alongside the rest of their group to the Science Room to clean up what looked to be some sort of photography display. Several photos of varying degrees of artistic quality decorated the room and now it was everyone in that room's job to neatly clean up the room.

"Come on, let's get this over with." Kenji complained, Takuya didn't know Kenji personally but he knew of him thanks to Junpei. "It might get done faster if you stop complaining so much." Takuya replied slightly annoyed already. "What was this room even going to be anyway?" he added.

"They were supposed to be for this photography competition." Yukari explained from across the room "Since the festival didn't get to happen, neither did the competition."

"It's a real shame the festival got canned, would've been pretty cool to see Yuka-tan in a maid outfit." Junpei joked as he took one of the displays down. "Shut it, Stupei." Yukari barked in response which only increased his snickering.

"Quick question, what's a maid?" Kazushi asked, his question caught the boys in the room by surprise. "You're serious?" Takuya asked stifling a chuckle. "Why would I be joking?" Kazushi responded. "Dude, you're like a legit pure soul or somethin'." Junpei chimed in shocked. "Maids are....ummm...how do I explain it." Kenji began racking his brain trying to think of how to answer this question he knew the answer to.

"Their women who dress in fancy dresses and clean for people." Takuya answered bluntly "That being said, the maids Junpei is thinking of are more of a fetish thing." he added with a smirk, this answer clicked with Kazushi as he now understood.

"Would you two stop talking about it, it's getting creepy." Yukari said slightly unnerved.

"Dude, I gotta show you what a maid looks like later." Kenji said excitedly to Kazushi "They look so cute in their dresses." as the plain looking student excitedly gushed to his athletic friend, Takuya couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Hey Junpei-kun, who'd make the better maid?" Kenji asked "Yukari-chan or Miyuki-chan?" this question set something off in Takuya's head and he dropped what he was doing before making a beeline to Kenji.

Fortunately for Kenji, Mitsuru had opened the door to the Science Room and entered which caught everyone's attention. "Takuya, may I see you for a moment." Mitsuru said, this distracted Takuya. "Sure thing, Princess." he answered before leaving the room with her. "Yo Junpei, what's Takuya-kun's deal?" Kenji asked "He datin' Mitsuru-senpai or something?" Junpei shrugged in response "Beats me." "Would you two stop chatting and get back to helping!" Yukari chided which caused both boys to spring back to action and stopped their conversation.

Mitsuru had led Takuya to the roof, he assumed she needed him to help with another part of the school but instead she took him up here which confused him.

"What's going on, Princess?" Takuya asked as he walked onto the roof with Mitsuru following behind "It's not like you to play hooky like this." he added as he turned around, upon turning around he was met with a kiss from the red-haired upperclassmen.

"Well then..." Takuya said in amazement as she broke the kiss off after a bit, immediately her face became extremely red as she realized what she just did. "I-I apologize, I just..." she began to try and explain herself but Takuya simply placed his hand on her head and smiled at her. "It's fine...honestly." he said in a soothing voice.
