"It's says they've gone to see the Jyomon-Cedar tree...." Junpei read the note out to Takuya and Akihiko. The three had all arrived to the beach just like yesterday only to discover none of the girls were there, they had found the letter inside the towel bag they took with them to the beach both yesterday and today as well.
"Miyuki wrote this." Takuya informed plainly "It's her handwriting."
"Oh come on!" Junpei complained "We're at a freakin' island resort and they decide to go for a walk in the woods instead of going to the beach?! Who does that?!"
"People who want to avoid a pervert, that's who." Takuya responded.
"H-Hey!" Junpei stuttered out in protest
"He's got a point..." Akihiko chimed in.
"Whaddya mean?!" Junpei said, Takuya smirked at this.
"You know exactly what we mean." Takuya responded with a sigh.
"Doesn't matter, now it's just us." Junpei spoke trying to change the subject "And when you're out of ammo, you pick it up from the battlefield! That's one of the most basic military tactics."
"What do you even know about the military?" Takuya asked with a chuckle.
"T-That's not the point! The point is we need to find ourselves some ladies." Junpei said as a devious grin came across his face "Operation Babe Hunt is now in action!"
"We're not doing this." Takuya groaned out.
"Oh come on! Akihiko-senpai, you're on board...right?" Junpei said in response.
"Babe Hunt?...." Akihiko spoke up "...So what, you want us to pick up girls?"
"This is stupid." Takuya groaned out "...but if it'll get Junpei to shut up, then I'll do it."
"Awesome! Let's do this thing!" Junpei exclaimed
"Alright....I guess if Takuya's on board, then I am too." Akihiko responded "Takuya, you take the leader position as usual."
"Wh-What?!" Junpei shouted in shock "Him!?"
"Hey, you're the one who called this an operation." Akihiko explained.
"Oh, no fair!" Junpei whined.
"Get over it, kiddo." Takuya joked, this only served to annoy Junpei more.
The three of them then began Junpei's so-called operation, after a bit of walking on the beach the three had found two young girls around their age talking to one another. One in a gold-colored swimsuit and the other in a green-colored one.
"Alright boys, let's get to work." Junpei said eager to get started.
"You're an idiot." Takuya groaned out in response.
"Just follow my lead." Junpei retorted before walking over to the girls, Takuya and Akihiko exchanged glances with one another before following Junpei.
"Evening ladies." Junpei said with a sly grin on his face.
"Like it's ten in the morning, what are you talking about." the girl in gold retorted with annoyance in her voice. "What do you want anyway?"
"W-Well, we were wondering what you girls were doing by yourselves." Junpei replied.
"We were trying to enjoy ourselves." The girl in green chimed in.
"Please ignore him." Takuya said as he stepped up "He's an idiot." The two girls giggled at the blue-haired boy's words.
"Who's your friend?" One of the girl's asked.
