Persona 3 : Two Souls

Part 1 - The First Day

"Takuya!" His sister's voice called out from the other side of his room's door, he sat up and pulled himself out of bed.

The young man stumbled over to his door, pulling it open to see his sister all dressed in her school uniform and ready for their first day at Gekkoukan High.

Her almost beaming excitement dimmed a little when she saw her brother hadn't even put his uniform on yet, still lazing about in his baggy sleep clothes.

"Takuya, you know we have school today." Miyuki whined.

"I know....I wasn't going to sleep in my uniform, just give me a few minutes." Takuya replied as he walked over to his closet and pulled the uniform out, Miyuki shut the door since he had forgotten to do that.

The brunette girl sighed to herself as she now waited for her brother to get ready, luckily Yukari came out of her room and saw her.

"Miyuki, is Takuya awake?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah but he just now woke up, so give him a little bit." Miyuki answered back with a slight smile on her face.

"That's fine, we'll need to take the train to get to school by the way." Yukari informed.

"I assumed." Miyuki replied back "...Hey Yukari, can I ask you something?" She hesitantly added after a bit of silence, catching the other girl's attention.

"What is it?" Yukari asked curiously.

"When Takuya and I got here....there was this little kid, he had us sign in and I haven't seen him since...who is he?" Miyuki asked, she was a little worried when Yukari responded with a look of confusion.

"There aren't any kids living here...." Yukari answered.

Before Miyuki could chime in, the door to her brother's room opened and cut her off.

Takuya stood there, in uniform, with his hands placed firmly in his pants pockets and his headphones resting around his neck.

"Takuya, I think you forgot to zip up your uniform jacket." Miyuki commented, having her attention trail away from her and Yukari's previous conversation. The young man looked down at himself and then shrugged in response.

"I kind of like it like this, and it's not like the school really cares if I wear it properly or not as long as I wear it..." Takuya commented.

"I guess that's true." Miyuki said "Now! Let's get going!" She chirped excitedly as she made her way towards the stairs, Yukari turned to look at Takuya and then back towards the girl walking away.

"Is she normally this...." Yukari began to ask but held back as she was at a loss for words.

"Let's go." Takuya said bluntly before following his sister, Yukari sighed and then followed the two.

Eventually the three found their way onto a train and that train took them to the island where Gekkoukan was built.

Yukari was leading them to the gate with Miyuki eagerly following her, all while Takuya was leisurely followed the girls while listening to his music.

"This is it! Gekkoukan high." Yukari announced as the three stopped at the gate to the school, prompting the siblings to look up at the school building.

"It's big..." Takuya said unimpressed.

"Inside past the lockers there should be a bulletin board with class assignments on them, find your names and go from there..." Yukari said before beginning to walk off, she then stopped and turned right back around "...and about what happened yesterday...please don't mention it to anyone." She added nervously.
