Takuya awoke on the 21st of September, without trying to it seems as though he had been asleep during the entirety of the typhoon since the outside looked nice and the sun was beaming through the windows of his room.
"Jeez..." Takuya groaned "...How long was I out?" he pulled himself out of bed and got dressed, once finished with that he walked out of his room and down to the ground floor of the dorm building where everyone else was hanging out. They all turned to look at him and Miyuki ran to him. "Takuya, you're awake!" she cheered "Are you feeling any better?" she added as she brought her hand up to his forehead to check if he had a fever. "I'm fine, Miyu." Takuya replied as he gently grabbed her wrist and lowered her hand off his forehead "I just slept a bit longer than normal."
"Takuya, it isn't exactly normal to sleep for multiple days straight." Mitsuru spoke up.
"You're right, Princess." Takuya responded "but I'm not normal, am I?" he added with a chuckle and a smirk which made Mitsuru roll her eyes with a smile.
"You slept through the whole storm, dude!" Junpei chimed in with a laugh "That's impressive!" "So what's everyone up to?" Takuya asked with a chuckle.
"Well the other day I found out Shinji could cook, so after that cat left the bag he decided to make something for the whole group!" Miyuki explained excitedly, this caused Takuya to noticed Shinjiro was indeed inside the kitchen area of the ground floor alongside Fuuka and a fairly energetic Koromaru.
"So, the dude can cook?" Takuya asked "Did not know that." the blue-haired young man walked over to the kitchen area but kept a safe distance as to not disturb the cooking process. "So Fuuka, you remember what I taught you from last time?" Shinjiro asked, the teal-haired girl took a bit to think but then remembered "Oh! I need to put oil in the pan, right?" she responded. "Yep." Shinjiro responded before his expression changed to one of shock and horror "Wh-What are you doing with cooking wine?" he asked. "I said olive oil, it's right here." he added while picking up the bottle of oil from the counter.
"Right...four tablespoons, correct?" Fuuka responded sheepishly as she put down the wine and took the oil from Shinjiro's hand, she reached to pick up the ladle that was hanging on the wall.
"Fuuka." Takuya spoke up "That's definitely not a tablespoon." he joked which caused her to recoil her hand. "Here's a measuring spoon." Shinjiro said as he handed Fuuka the correct kind of spoon, watching this entire scene play out was fascinating for Takuya. He watched as Shinjiro not only skillfully cooked a dish for the entire group, but also taught Fuuka how to cook a completely different meal at the same time.
"Seems good, Shinji." Akihiko commented "Think there will be any leftovers?"
"Can't you tell?" Shinjiro asked without breaking focus.
"You know you're supposed to cook large amounts when cooking." Akihiko joked.
"And you know you're supposed to not be an idiot, obviously I'm making enough for more than twelve people." Shinjiro replied with a smirk "Quit askin' questions and lemme work." he added as he continued with his cooking, everyone decided it would be best to sit around the table in the dining area while Shinji and Fuuka cooked.
Takuya sat next to Miyuki who sat next to Yukari with Akihiko sitting next to her, on the other side of the table sat Mitsuru who was right across from Takuya and Junpei sat two seats away from her on the same side. Aigis sat on one of the ends of the table, on her right was where Takuya sat and her left was where Mitsuru sat.
"That stuff's smelling good, Shinjiro." Takuya exclaimed. "Glad you think so, fearless leader." Shinjiro said in response as he corrected another mistake on Fuuka's part.
