The following day, May 10th, was a Sunday so the group had the perfect chance to take a break and relax after everything they had been put through the day prior.
Miyuki walked up to her brother's room door and knocked on it, after a bit he came to the door and looked at her.
"Oh, hey Miyu." Takuya said as his attitude raised up a little.
"Hiya!" Miyuki cheerfully responded "I was thinking that we could go to this bookstore I saw when I was out with Yuka-chan once, thought you'd be interested."
"Well, I don't have any other plans...so sure, why not." Takuya accepted his sister's offer.
"You invite anyone else?" Takuya asked as he and his sister started making their way downstairs. "Nope, Yuka-chan already had plans and I didn't think you'd want Junpei to be there after yesterday." Miyuki explained.
The two siblings made their way over to Iwatodai Station, Miyuki leading her brother to a small bookstore named Bookworms that was super easy to miss given it was surrounded by places like the Wild-Duck Burger, a Beef Bowl shop, and even a sweets shop.
"Wow, this place is hidden." Takuya commented.
"I know, right? That's so cool!" Miyuki gushed in response "There's also a second book store nearby called Book-On, I've gotta show you that one too!"
"One stop at a time, you're getting ahead of yourself again." Takuya said with a smirk before the two entered the store, the small room of a store was crowded with stacks and stacks of used books and there was only one other customer besides the Shiomi siblings.
The store was run by an elderly couple, the husband in that relationship gave the two siblings a "Welcome to Bookworms." from behind the counter.
"Alright, let's take a look around." Takuya said, with that signal Miyuki skipped off to a stack of books and began browsing through them.
Takuya turned to being looking himself but stopped when he took a look at the only other customer in the place, a petite girl with teal-blue hair was looking through a stack of used books but seemed to be nervously looking up at the top of the stack.
Takuya let out a quiet sigh as he walked over to her.
"Which book are you looking at?" Takuya asked, the short girl squeaked in response as she turned away from the book and towards the slender boy looking at her.
"O-Oh it's nothing...." She quietly answered, this caused Takuya to let out another sigh. "Please...I know the look of someone who can't reach something when I see it." He countered "Now, which book is out of reach for you?".
The short-haired girl took a deep breath and then pointed upwards, Takuya casually followed her direction and pulled down a book from the large stack.
"Here." Takuya said "Nocturne, right?" he asked.
"Y-Yes." The girl confirmed as she took the book "Thank you."
"No problem, you know most people are more than willing to help." Takuya informed.
"I-I know..." She said softly.
"Then get better at asking people for help." Takuya shot back as nicely as he could.
The girl replied with a nod and then sheepishly retreated to the counter to make her purchase. With that situation finished, Takuya decided to go back to his book browsing.
"Hmmm" Takuya mused to himself as he pulled a book from one of the stacks, he began to look over it's description on the back before flipping to the front.
