Part 8 - Life Goes On

The next day, after the end of the school day, Takuya stood up from his desk and walked over to his sister who was still at her's.

"You going to that volleyball team thing?" Takuya asked.

"Yep!" Miyuki answered "I'm glad you remembered." she added as she got up from her desk, Takuya smirked in response.

"How could I forget." He replied.

"I've got to get going." Miyuki said as she hugged her brother "See you at the dorms."

Saying her goodbyes, Miyuki skipped out of the classroom, Takuya let out another sigh before turning around and being immediately greeted with the sight of Junpei.

"Sup dude." Junpei greeted.

"Hey." Takuya said with annoyance hinting his voice.

"Akihiko-senpai said he wanted us to meet him at the mall!" Junpei gushed excitedly.

"Since when did you become his biggest fan?" The blue-haired boy asked.

"You don't get it, do you dude?" The ballcap wearing teen said in response.

"Guess I don't." Takuya shrugged.

"Akihiko-senpai is one of the most popular guys in the whole school, girls line up just to look at him!" Junpei began to excitedly explain "And if he wants us to meet him at the mall, that can only mean one thing!"

Takuya silently looked at the overly-excitedly teen in front of him, raising a single eyebrow to signal his skepticism.

"Are you seriously trying to tell me that you think he's only asking to meet us because of girls?" The blue-haired teen questioned.

"Of course, dude! Why else would he want us to meet him at the mall?" Junpei fired back as if he made some irrefutable point.

"Something related to S.E.E.S probably..." Takuya answered.

"No way, he wouldn't be handling shadow-biz in a public place like that." said Junpei.

"I seriously doubt he'd call us just so he can share girls or whatever." Takuya brushed off Junpei's giddy words ready to just walk off.

"D-Dude, where ya goin'!?" Junpei stumbled over his words as he called out to the escaping Takuya who let out a sigh in response as he turned around.

"I was going to the mall." He explained "Akihiko said to meet him there, right?" the teen asked annoyed.

"O-Oh...yeah, that's right." Junpei stuttered back before the two headed off to meet with their senpai.

Once arriving at the mall, the two boys saw the grey-haired boxer they came here to meet up with.

"There you two are." Akihiko said as he noticed the two, as they were walking over to him Junpei frantically looked around as if he expected more people.

"What's with you?" Akihiko asked Junpei confused.

"He was expecting girls to be here." Takuya bluntly informed.

"No, it's just us three." Akihiko informed "Mitsuru has the student council to worry about, Yukari has archery, and Miyuki told me she couldn't make it." he added.

"Not them." Takuya added "Junpei was expecting your fangirls."

Akihiko gave the blue-haired boy a puzzled look and then turned to face Junpei.

"You mean those noisy girls that bother me every day?" The boxer asked "Why would I bring them, what we do is supposed to be secret." he added informatively.
