November 4th, that morning Takuya was awoken by Pharos who gave him a friendly "Good morning."
"Pharos?" The teenager asked as he sat up in his bed, he rubbed his head as his sight cleared up around him and he realized it was the morning.
"This is indeed a new day." Pharos spoke "All of my memory, it's all come back together once again."
"Is that so?" Takuya asked as he got out of bed.
"Yes." Pharos answered "I now know my role clearly...and I remember someone I had been separated from."
"Oh really now?" Takuya replied with a skeptical chuckle "Well, that's good."
"The time has come." Pharos spoke "As difficult as it may be, I am afraid that this is goodbye." this caught the young man's attention, did Pharos mean like goodbye for good this time? "For me, our friendship was a miracle." Pharos admitted with a sad look in his eyes "but...miracles don't last forever."
"If only they did..." Takuya said in response, he did genuinely feel bad for this kid.
"The bond between us can never be severed, I know that." Pharos said "I will miss you."
"You know....I think I might miss you too." Takuya said with a weak smile, he wasn't sure if he meant it or not but he could see that it gave the child some comfort as he disappeared from sight one final time.
After that whole thing, the young man got dressed and made his way to school. The whole train ride there he was lost in his own thoughts while Miyuki talked with Yukari and Junpei about the party planned for that afternoon. This really was it, they could say goodbye to the Dark Hour and all of them could go back to living normal lives undisturbed by the supernatural.
"Dude, you better come home right after school!" Junpei exclaimed which destroyed the blue-haired boy's train of thought. "Huh?" he said in a groggy response.
"Junpei's just being impatient." Miyuki said with a giggle "I'll let Rio know I can't make it to practice today."
"Great." Junpei said "Oh boy, I can't wait!"
The school day went on like normal, hours later it was over and Takuya decided he wouldn't keep everyone else waiting by heading back to the dorm as soon as classes had ended for the day. Takuya arrived to see everyone else already there, gathered around the lounge area table which was completely decorated in various types of sushi.
"Takuya, check out the spread!" Junpei exclaimed as he called Takuya over.
"Wow, impressive." Takuya said in response, he then looked around to see that Aigis was missing and Ikutsuki wasn't here either. "Did Ikutsuki take Aigis for an oil change or something?" he asked half-joking. "Yeah, something like that." Akihiko answered. "He said he'd join us later after the tune up was finished."
At that moment, the sound of tires could be heard outside the dorm. This noise caught Mitsuru's attention as she ran towards the entrance, she opened the door and there stood her father. Everyone else got up as the older man walked into the building, he looked around and surveyed the group.
"So...it's finally over." Takeharu said plainly.
"Yes." Mitsuru replied, Takeharu smiled in response. "Thank you, all of you." he stated "While you may never receive the recognition you deserve, know that what you all have done for this world is an achievement unparalleled by anything else."
"That means a lot coming from you." Akihiko said, Takeharu walked up to Yukari and bowed in front of her. "I owe you a special thanks, for lending us your power until the very end."
