십사: Nightfalls

Haechan sighed. He was so done with Renjun. When he said it shouldn't bother them since there were both guys. That was an understatement. And that doesn't seem to apply right in this situation. Sleeping with a guy. Not only that but he was going to sleep with Na Jaemin. His crush. Just thinking about it in the cold shower bothers him as he tried to calm his beating heart down. 'Okay, Donghyuck...it's just sleeping...don't think too much.' The brunette thought as he dried his hair. 'It'll be fine in a few days. You'll get used to it.' 

Oh, he was so wrong.

The moment he got out of the shower, he got nervous again. The other was already under the covers, closing his eyes. Sleep or awake, Haechan didn't know. All the knew was the bubblegum hair male was so beautiful right now. The moonlight was shining perfectly on him, casting shadows that cover the room. The prince swallowed, feeling slightly braver as he got closer, staring at the other's face. He lifted his hand as he reached out, wanting to touch his face. Before realising that was rude and the other might get annoyed at him for all he knew. 

That was when Haechan decided to go away only to be pulled back by a strong force. He unconsciously let out a gasp as he looked at the position they were in. The other on top of him, holding his hands down as those brown eyes stared at him. Like a predator finding out their prey was near them. "Were you having fun staring?" Haechan shook his head immediately as a thick blush formed on his face. 

'What am I doing?!' The brunette thought as he tried to escape from the other's grasp. The pink hair give a laugh, letting go. "You can be honest you know?" Jaemin smiled as he watched the other stare at him with utter shock. 'O M G.' Haechan tried to sign, hoping the pink hair understood. The laughter made it clear that he did. "I'm kidding. I just wonder why would you want to do that." Haechan didn't know how to react to that. He knew the other didn't understand sign language. So he thought of a way to say it. 'Should I just say because I couldn't speak and wanted to check on you?' Haechan thought as he diverted his gaze but 'How do I..?' 

"Hmm?" Jaemin tilted his head as he waited for an answer. 'Ah F**k it.' Without much thought, the older just put his finger on his lips and pointed the finger towards the other. The pink hair started picking up a blush, trying to figure out what the other meant. But all he could think about was those soft lips. "You...You want me to kiss that?" Haechan's face immediately turns 3 shades darker before covering it with a pillow. Even if it does sound appealing, he was way too embarrassed to nod. "I'm guessing that's a no?" Haechan shook his head as he pointed at the night sky as went under the covers. 

"Not today?" The other questioned before going under the covers with him. The brunette nodded vigorously before trying his luck by shifting closer to the other. The pink hair saw it as a sign and also shifted closer, whispering. "You know...that day... I saw a beautiful person with orange and brown eyes."

"It was you, wasn't it?" Their faces were inches apart as Haechan could feel his breathing pick up. His eyes slowly turning orange out of nervousness, before nodding slowly. "I thought so," Jaemin said, taking a bold move and bring the other in a hug. "I couldn't forget you. Up until this day." Haechan buried his face in the other's neck, before hugging back, ruffling his hair. 

"I still really like you." 

That was the last thing he heard before soft snores could be heard as the other's breathing slowed down. 

"I like you too."

"Chenle," Jeno called out worriedly as the other went straight to bed without saying a word. "Please talk to me..." The brown hair waited for a good 5 minutes before repeating, "Chenle please-" "What?" The green hair said not facing the other. "Are you okay? I mean I know you're not but please tell me where you're hurting..."

It was then the younger turned to face the brown hair. And Jeno swallowed. Those eyes make the night air colder than ever. "Even if I am," Chenle said slowly as he approached the other sitting on the bed. "Why must I tell you?" Jeno was struck. He's right. Chenle doesn't remember or know what he knows. Why does he even need to answer him? But even so-

"Because I don't want to lose you anymore," Jeno picked up the courage to speak what's on his mind while the other folded his arms, waiting. "When I was younger, I love a boy. He was the sweetest, kindest person I ever met," Jeno continued as he held out a conch shell. "We dated, spending plenty of time in the empire of the underwater." The other's eyes met the green hair as he spoke words he should have a long time ago.

"And that boy was you."

The green hair held up his conch shell around his neck, realising it's glowing pink. Staring at it in shock, he met the other's eyes. Wanting to hear more. "Altantia was a beautiful flourishing kingdom," The brown hair held his glowing blue shell closer to the other's. "Where everyone and anyone could date. That's was until..."

"Help me!" The young boy was pulling away as he saw a person swim towards him, trying to grab his hand. But the person was just not fast enough. As the little boy blanked out all he heard was
"You're mine now."

"It got destroyed." Jeno finished and stopped. Seeing Chenle holding his head, the other immediately pulled him closer. "I'm sorry, it must be painful..." "It...is..." Chenle admitted, tears staining hus face. As they stayed in that position for a while. The green hair trying to calm down as he gently pushed the other way.

"Apologies. I think I need some rest..." Concerned brown eyes met pained chocolate ones. "J-just...give me some time... Please..." Jeno nodded, still staring at the other. "As long as you need, honey..." Chenle managed out a 'thank you' before thinking about what the brown hair said.

'Altantia...was it..?'
