"Not so fast, King." A metallic sound resounded in Renjun's ears as voices were heard behind him. A warm feeling covered his arm as he opened his eyes. "Chenle!" The green hair gave a smile as he started healing the other while Jeno stood over the king his sword holding him back. "Hurry guys! I can't hold much longer!" Chenle gave a sharp nod as he grabbed the older out of the water, trying his best to heal him. "I'll help," Jaemin spoke up, his hand glowing pink as he held Renjun's hand.

"And I'm with you, Jeno," Taeil answered as he fought the king's spells expelling them as soon as possible. Haechan helped the civilians fight off the magic-users, shooting them down like balloons. Everything was in a mess. People fighting against each other as magical dust swept the air. The magic started mixing, swords clinking and people charging at each other.

Mark pulled at the chains as they tried slowly let loose since Renjun got weak. "Haha..." Mark let out as he looked at the scene in front of him. All of them are against the king while he was just the bait. It was according to his wicked schemes. Everyone was busy and in pain. Making power taking an easy task for Mark.

Mark pulled the chains of his arms as he got rid of the last lock, standing up as he looked at the king who shouted, "Don't just stand there! Help me!" Mark's eyes had the same gleam in his eyes. The one that looks down on people. The one of revenge. "Should I?" His red eyes shone as his expression show smugness. "Don't test me, Mark." The black hair gave out breathy laughter, looking at his highness. "You know. I didn't really want to follow your orders in the first place." King Lee's actions came to a sudden stop after those words. "...what?"

"I didn't actually want to care about you," Mark said, walking calmly despite the chaos occurring behind him. His emotions taking full control of him. "I only listened to you because I didn't want to get blasted," Mark said plainly as King Lee got hurt by Taeil's magic, leaving an ugly burn on him. "Argh!" The king shouted in pain as he fell slightly, dragging his attention back to the fight. "We're not done yet, King Lee," Jeno growled as he managed to strike the king with his blade. "How dare you betray me." King Lee said through gritted teeth as his powers were about to run out, energy-draining from him. "King Prosepher," Mark said, his red eyes show no sign of pity. Just pure revenge.

"Didn't you remember how you mistrusted me? Because of Doyoung and Jungwoo?"

"Cut the shit, Mark Lee!" The King shouted, anger boiling in his veins. "I'm guessing you don't care, right?" The black hair smiled as he gathered the magic from the dead and injured magic users, stealing every part of it. "Don't you-" "You know, my kind is really good at this kind of things," Mark said nonchalantly and he gathered the magic, placing it in his heart. "F**k-" King Lee swore as he saw everyone around him fall weakly, including himself. The power's too much.

Too much that it's corrupting.

"Getting what I want, that is." Mark laughed at his sentence as he placed his hand on the king's shoulder. King Lee fell to his knees at that already fatigue as everyone watched the scene unfold. He shook violently as the younger looked into his eyes. Staring into his soul. "Goodbye, King Prosepher Lee." Sea Green magic floated in the air as a painful cry pierced through the air. Sucking his every heart and soul. The black hair's eyes now have turned pitched black. No colour was shown but black. Jeno and Taeil started pushing Chenle and the others behind them, slightly shaking in fear. Haechan stood at the front, hoping to protect the others with his magic too.

But the efforts were all wasted.

Mark managed to cause a whirl of wind, water evaporating into the sky as raindrops starting falling. Thunder growled loudly as the place turned dark. Everyone soaking up except for the brunette. The whirl of wind sucked up everything, buildings, bridges, water and even bodies. Everyone caught in the tornado, except for Taeil, Renjun, Chenle, Jeno, Haechan and Jaemin. Jeno found it hard to stay on his feet as he grabbed onto Renjun who use magic to create a barrier among them. "Why are you doing this?" Taeil asked, almost too tired to stand as he fell to his knees. They were all exhausted from overuse of their powers. However, they didn't want to give up.

"If I stole the magic from all the sectors and become the most powerful being, I'll have everything. It'll all be in my hands." Mark floated up staring down at them, his smile show of insanity. Power corruption. "Is that really what you want?" Renjun asked, shouting through the wind. "Stop asking!" Mark shouted, knocking the two down as they kneeled, feeling the power drain from them too. "Arghh!" Chenle shouted as he felt his head pounding like someone was stabbing it constantly.

"Stop..." Jaemin managed out as Haechan held back a scream. The dark magic, the atmosphere, the pain. It driving them to insanity. Mark laughed insanely, "Suffer you pathetic beings. Now you know how it feels. To be dragged down." "Stop it, Mark..." Jaemin repeated his pink aura glowing against the protective barrier Haechan has put up. He felt a small squeeze on his left hand as he looked at the brunette, squeezing back. Pink eyes stared at the orange ones, supporting each other.

"Stop touching him. He's mine!" Mark said as he sent a blast of magic towards the barrier, breaking it instantly. "He's...too powerful..." Renjun let out as he tried to find ways to create another barrier. However, his magic refused to form, disappearing in little puffs of smoke. "He's not yours!" The pink hair let out, now angered. He then protectively stood in front of Haechan, protecting him.

"You want to play this the hard way? Then you'll have the hard way!" Mark built a huge ball of black in his hand, the magic whisking even before it reaches them. "No!" Haechan screamed, as he quickly pushed Jaemin back, using his magic to cover the pink hair. His orange eyes glowing as he meets Jaemin's shock eyes once again. "I'm sorry," Haechan smiled as the ball struck him, causing him to fly back and collapse onto the ground.

"Haechan!"
