5 : Married Life

(Y/N)'s POV

"What do you think of this one?" One of the event organizers ask me while I was in the kitchen doing a last minute touch up for my son's birthday cake

"It looks wonderful, thank you." I smiled as she ask me about the balloon situation "Just put it beside the presents."

Today is the first birthday of our baby boy and I'm being emotional because he's growing up so fast. It feels like he was just born yesterday.

"Now there is our beautiful mommy." Niall walked in carrying (Y/S/N) in his arms

I smiled once I saw them. They look so cute together because they are both wearing matching outfits.

"Someone's awake from his nap." I said and kissed our son's chubby and rosy cheek "I like your outfit."

"How about his hair?" Niall asked

"I love it, just like his father's." I smiled "Happy birthday, I love you."

Then our son giggled making my heart burst. His giggle is music to my ears. It makes me so happy that I can make him laugh like that.

It's already around 7 in the evening and most of the guests that we invited have already arrived.

Niall is carrying our son while he's chatting with his cousins from Ireland. Me on the other hand, is carrying the cake so we can start singing (Y/S/N) a happy birthday.

I asked one of our helpers to lit the candle for me. Once it was lit, I walked outside the backyard and started singing happy birthday. The guests turned their attention to me and I walked to the middle so everyone can gather around.

"Happy birthday, dear (Y/S/N). Happy birthday to you." Niall was already beside me when the song finished

Niall and I leaned forward so we can blow the candle for (Y/S/N). Everyone clapped and cheered when the candle is out and then our son starts to giggle and clapped his hands with us.

After taking photos with our son and our guest, we started to eat. I went inside the living room and started to breastfeed (Y/S/N) while Niall was outside hosting the party and kept entertaining our guests.

"You're getting so big, my love. I can't believe you're one already." I mumbled while (Y/S/N) is eating "I can't imagine my life without you. You are the best thing that has ever happened between me and your daddy. We love you so much."

When (Y/S/N) finished eating, I fixed my top and put him on my shoulder so I can make him burp.

Niall walked in a few minutes later and said "Here, I brought you some food."

"Thanks, love. I'll just put (Y/S/N) to sleep and then I'll eat." I answered while I sway our son in my arms

"How about I'll put him to bed? You haven't ate anything since breakfast." Niall said

He's right, my last meal was around 8 in the morning. I was too busy preparing for (Y/S/N)'s birthday party.

I nod because I know Niall wouldn't take no for an answer. So I gently gave our son to him. I sat on the couch and had a couple of bites while Niall is singing (Y/S/N) to sleep.

Niall's POV

I told (Y/N) to go back to the backyard once she's done eating. I just want her to mingle with our friends and families because she's been busy preparing for (Y/S/N)'s birthday.

"We are so lucky to have mama in our lives huh, little man?" I gently said to my sleeping child

As I gently sway him to my arms, I look outside the sliding door, admiring my beautiful wife. She's blooming even at night. It still feels surreal to me that I married her and now we have a baby together.

I put (Y/S/N) down on his crib into his nursery bedroom and I asked one of our helpers to check on him while (Y/N) and I are outside with our guests.

When I got outside the backyard, I walked over where (Y/N) is catching up with our friends.

I wrapped my arm around her waist and gently kissed her temple.

"Hey, is (Y/S/N) asleep now?" She asked and I nod

"You two look more in love than before. What's the secret?" Deo asked as he offer me a Guinness

"Don't ever piss your wife, Deo." I jokingly answered making our friends laugh

"Same old, Niall Horan." Tara chuckled

"Well, to be honest. I really don't know." I said as I look at (Y/N) making her look at me also

"What a day." I said while removing my clothes

"You had a couple of Guinness tonight, mister." (Y/N) said as she feeds (Y/S/N)

It's already midnight when me and the lads finished drinking. We were the only ones left in the backyard after 9 in the evening.

"You know how I love Guinness." I said before brushing my teeth

"I was thinking." (Y/N) said "Do you want to try on having a baby again?"

I quickly brushed my teeth and wiped my mouth with a towel "What?"

"I know it's a crazy idea." She said "I also think it's too fast because (Y/S/N) just turned one and then you have an album to release around this year. So having another baby is not an option right now."

"No, it's not a crazy idea." I said "I was just surprised because I thought you wanted to have another baby next year or so."

"Oh, so it's okay for you to start trying on having a baby this year?"

"I don't mind having a baby now. I mean we can work it out." I said "We made it work when we found out you were pregnant with (Y/S/N)."

"What about your career? We both know how much it means to you." She said

"So what if I have an album to release. I'll always choose my family no matter what. You guys are my priority now."

Then she smiled at me and got teary-eyed after I said it.

"Why are you crying? Don't cry." I said and quickly went to her side

"I'm so glad I married you." She chuckled making me smile

"Yeah, me too." I smiled

When (Y/N) put (Y/S/N) to his crib, I posted a few pictures on my Instagram and Twitter to update my fans.

(Y/N) cuddled herself to me and gently kissed my chest.

"Also, I've been thinking about our secret on why we look more in love than before." I said after putting my phone down the bedside table "And I think I know why."

"Why?" (Y/N) asked

"It's the sex. I mean I have a point right?" I asked making (Y/N) laugh and shake her head

"You are definitely drunk and tired, Niall Horan." She chuckled "Goodnight, my love. I'll see you in the morning."

"Goodnight. I love you." I said before giving her a kiss on the forehead

"I love you too."
