21 : Arms

Niall's POV

I'm watching a Netflix series in the living room around 2 in the afternoon when suddenly (Y/N) lied her head on my lap with her laptop on top of her stomach and airpods on each ear.

I chuckled a bit and shook my head. She's not paying attention to her classes and I know it.

“In my defense, my professor is boring.” She said making me laugh a little

I just let her be and continued to watch while gently running my hand through her hair.

After finishing one episode that's around 30 minutes, I looked down on my lap and see (Y/N)'s sleeping. I gently tapped her forehead to wake her up then she opened her eyes and looked at me.

“You're sleeping, my love.” I giggled

“I don't care, I'm tired.” She said then put her laptop on the coffee table but her airpods still on her ears

Her zoom class was still on but she went back to lie her head on my lap then she wrapped her arms around my stomach while facing my stomach as well.

“You comfy?” I asked and then she closed her eyes and nodded a yes “I don't know how you managed to get good grades when you're here sleeping on my lap while you have a zoom class.”

“You impressed?” She asked her eyes still closed

“Yes, very.” I answered making her giggle

After another episode, (Y/N) woke up from her nap and grabbed her laptop and recited. I covered my face to stifle my laugh, then (Y/N) playfully hit my arm while she was reciting.

I quickly went to the kitchen and laughed so hard.

“Babe! I think the class heard you laughing!” (Y/N) said and I came back to the living still laughing “Why are you laughing?!” She asked while laughing also

“You're insane!” I said while holding my stomach because it ached a bit from laughing “Dang, I knew you were smart but that was a different kind of smart.”

“Why?! Babe, stop laughing.” I know it wasn't that funny but to me it is

“We're you actually sleeping?” I asked while I sat back on the couch

“Kind of but I can still hear my prof discussing some stuffs about prostrate glands on animals.” She said “I almost laughed when you started laughing in the kitchen.” She added and threw a throw pillow at me

“I'm sorry but I can't stop it.” I said “Thanks for making me laugh today.”

I had a bad meeting with management a while ago and it kinda ruined my day.

“Awe, Ni.” She said her eyes balling “Now, you're making me cry.” She then quickly wrapped her arms around my neck and mumbled “I love you.”

“I love you too, (Y/N).” I said and kissed the top of her shoulder

“Did the meeting a while ago gone bad?” She pulled away from the hug and asked
