9 : Boyfriend vs Best Friend (Part 4)

(Y/N) stormed away as she went straight to the guest room and slammed the door shut leaving the two frozen.

“Great.” (Y/B/F/N) mumbled to herself then she went to the living room to get her stuffs “I'll call her tomorrow.”

“Hold on, what are you doing?” Niall asked as he followed her to the living room “You're not leaving until (Y/N) gets out of that room. We have to fix this.”

“Niall, if you really know (Y/N), she won't be talking to any of us until she's cool down.” (Y/B/F/N) said “So approximately she will go out of that room around tomorrow.”

“Then we'll wait until tomorrow. No one's leaving.” Niall said “Actually I'm not leaving, this is my place, so what I meant is you're not leaving.”

“You can't make me.” (Y/B/F/N) said while she crossed her arms

“Oh, yes I can.” Niall said “I can tell the guards to not let you out of this village until I say so.”

“You're really an asshole, Horan.” (Y/B/F/N) said as she gives in

She put down her stuffs and sat on the couch “So, what now? I know for sure she won't be leaving that room and won't be talking to us.”

“First of all, I want to clarify things between us.” Niall said “Everything that I said that have hurt you, I'm sorry. I didn't mean any of it.”

“Then explain to me about the Amelia situation.” (Y/B/F/N) said

“She's just my friend, that's it.” Niall explained “She flew here in Los Angeles with me because it just happens we had the same flight. And besides, the main reason why she flew to Los Angeles was too see her boyfriend.”

“Oh.” (Y/B/F/N) said “I feel so embarrassed right now.”

“It's alright, it kind of look like we were dating anyways.” Niall said

“I'm sorry for accusing you a cheater when you're really not.”

“Thank you.” Niall said

“I just don't want to see my best friend go through to whatever shit her ex gave.”

“I know you're just trying to protect her.” Niall said “I promise you, I will never cheat on her and I was really being honest when I said the last thing that I wanted to do is hurt her.”

“Promise?” (Y/B/F/N) asked “I swear to God I'll kill you if you break that promise.”

“I promise.” Niall smiled “So, let's start over and be friends, for real this time?” Niall offered his hands for her to shake it

“Yeah, I'd like that, Horan.” (Y/B/F/N) smiled as she offers her hand and shook Niall's hand

“So, any plans on how to make it up to her?” (Y/B/F/N) asked

“I actually don't have any idea.” Niall said

(Y/N)'s POV

I don't know how long I have been sitting in this room but all along I was doing a lot of research about this Amelia girl.

She has no social media accounts except Instagram and I can't access through it because it's private. Then at the bottom of her profile, it said that Niall is following her.

I didn't want to accuse Niall cheating without him explaining first. But every photos that I see in Twitter is making me believe that Niall is seeing this girl behind my back.

“(Y/N)?” Niall knocked on the door but I ignored him

“(Y/N), can you please open the door. Niall and I wanted to say something.” (Y/B/F/N) added

I was confused because the last thing that I remember they were fighting and now they're friends?

“If you guys made up just for my sake, leave.” I annoyingly said “I don't want to force friendships. If you don't want to be friends, then don't. I don't want a pathetic, plastic and a lying boyfriend or best friend.”

“We made up, because we really do want to be friends.” Niall said

“Yeah, Niall explained everything so you better come open this door so you can stop scrolling through your phone and reading all the fake rumors about Amelia and Niall.” (Y/B/F/N) said, damn she knows too well

I stood up from the bed and went to unlock the door. When I opened it, Niall was carrying a box of cookies and (Y/B/F/N) was carrying a pint of my favorite ice cream flavor.

“A best friend of mine told me, to get through a person's heart is through his or her stomach.” (Y/B/F/N) smiled making me smile also

“I wonder who is your best friend?” I teasingly asked making her chuckle

“I'm sorry.” She said “I'm sorry for ruining your relationship. I thought I was doing the right thing but it turns out I made it worst.”

“Oh, I forgive you.” I said and gave her a tight hug

Then I heard Niall did a fake cough sound making (Y/B/F/N) and I pull away from our hug “Yes?” I asked

“I'll be in the living room.” (Y/B/F/N) said before walking away

“Is that my favorite cookies?” I teasingly asked

“Yeah.” He nodded

“You ate one already didn't you?” I asked

“Guilty.” He answered making me smile

“Look, if you're happier with Amelia, go.” I said “She looks like she can give everything that I can't.”

“What? No!” He panickingly said “You're all I want, (Y/N).”

“Then why are you with her?”

“I know it looks like we're dating, but we're not.” Niall said “Amelia is a friend of mine and the reason why she's here with me it's because she wanted to see her boyfriend. They've been dating for years now and it just happens Amelia was quarantined in London because she wanted to be closer with her family just like what I did.”

“Then explain to me why are you always together and walking around like a couple?”

“Amelia and I are like brothers and sisters, that's it. Nothing more.” Niall said “Baby, believe me. I'm not cheating on you.” He added then he put the box of cookies down the dresser that is outside the hallway and gently cupped my face “I love you. You're the only girl that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. (Y/N), please believe me.”

One look in his eyes and I knew he was telling the truth “I love you, too.”

He smiled at me and give me a passionate kiss on the lips making me feel those butterflies and fireworks fooling around my belly.

“Okay, so is this the part I should leave?” (Y/B/F/N) said in the background “Are you guys going to have sex now?”

Niall and I didn't pull away we just continued to kiss and make out “All right, I'm leaving. Wear protection you guys, love you both. Bye!”
