17 : The Bora Bora Trip (Part 1)

(Y/N)'s POV

Niall invited me to come join him and his family to have a vacation to Bora Bora. It's private and Niall booked a whole resort for three days because he wanted it to be private and safe as much as possible.

I'm currently packing all of the stuffs that I will be needing for this mini vacation when suddenly I got a text from my ex-boyfriend.

Reph:
Hey, (Y/N). How are you?

Reph was my boyfriend for two years and the cause of our break up was because of his family. They didn't want me to be his girlfriend and it came to the point where Reph has to choose between me and his family.

So we both decided to call it off and end our relationship because we knew it was the right thing to do. It was heartbreaking at first because Reph was my first boyfriend and I really thought that he'll be the one for me.

I loved him so he still has a special place in my heart.

Me:
I'm great, Reph! How are you too? I heard that you're opening a new branch of your restaurant. Congratulations!

After a few seconds, he's caller ID appeared on my screen and asked me to FaceTime him.

“Hi there!” Reph greeted after I answered “Wow, you look more beautiful.”

“Hey, Reph.” I blushed after he complimented me “Thanks, uhm, you're not to bad of yourself also. Nice hairstyle though.”

“Yeah, I've decided to change it up recently. What do you think?” He asked as he showed me his groomed hair

“It looks good on you.” I said “Good to see you again! It's been a long time.”

“Yeah, it's been what a year now?” He asked

“Wow, a year? Really?” I surprisingly asked “Time flies huh?”

“Let's catch up this weekend! How about Saturday? Lunch?” He said

“Uhm, Reph, actually I won't be around this weekend. I'm going on a trip with my boyfriend and his family this weekend.” I answered

“Boyfriend? Oh, how long have you guys been together?” He asked, he's mood suddenly changed

“Four months.” I simply answered “Uh, how about you? Any girl in your life right now?”

“Believe it or not, I don't have.” He nervously chuckled “Honestly, the reason I'm not dating anyone it's because I'm still not over you.”

“Aw, Reph.” That was the only words that came right out of my mouth “I'm sor-”

“No it's okay! Don't be sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned it.” He said “Well, uhm I wish you all the best and I hope that new man of yours makes you happier every single day. He's such a lucky guy.”

“Thanks, Reph.” I smiled “I wish you all the best also.”

“Well, nice catching up with you. I better get going, I have a meeting in a minute.” He said “Have fun with your trip and hopefully I can see you soon.”

“Yes, hopefully I can see you soon too, Reph. Thanks again.” I said before we waved each other goodbye

After a long flight, we finally arrived to our destination. It was an 11 hour flight from L.A to Bora Bora. Niall's family arrived a day early because they came from Ireland.

We will be meeting up with them after Niall and I checked in to our villa.

“It's beautiful.” I said as I take photos of the place
