9 : Boyfriend vs Best Friend (Part 3)

(Y/N)'s POV

After our meeting with our client today, (Y/B/F/N) and I went straight to the groceries to grab a bottle of wine, a can of beers and a few snacks for later.

“What do you think? This one or this one?” I asked (Y/B/F/N) on which brand of wine should I buy

“That one is better.” She answered so I put the other one back on the wine rack and put the other one on the cart “So, what do you think of Niall? I know your hang out with him only took a few hours but you two look like you were getting along while I was getting ready this morning.”

“He's okay, I guess. I mean like you said, it only took like a an hour or so.” She said “He wasn't bad at all, I'm actually intrigued right now.”

“Intrigued? Really?”

“Yeah, I really want to know him more.” She smiled

“That's good to know. I have a feeling that you two will get along just fine.”

When we got home, I was expecting Niall to be here already but he's car wasn't parked at the garage yet.

“I thought he'll be home soon.” I said as I checked on the last message that Niall texted me “It was an hour ago, so he must be home by now.”

I dialled Niall's phone and about two to four rings he answered “Hey, love.”

“Where are you? I thought you'll be home by now.” I asked

“Yeah, sorry about that. I had to drop someone off.” He answered

Then I heard a girl's voice through my phone and said “Right over here, Niall.”

“Who's that?” I asked

“Hold on a sec.” Then he ended the call

“What's the matter? You're pale as a ghost.” (Y/B/F/N) commented

Then my phone rang and I was a bit hesitant to answer but I pressed the green button later on “Hello?”

“Sorry about that. I just dropped a friend off on her Airbnb, but I'm on my way home now. See you in a few.” He said

“Oh, okay.” I said “Bye.”

“Niall said earlier that he has a meeting with management, right?” I asked (Y/B/F/N)

“Yeah, why?”

“Nothing.” I smiled

Third's POV

“How was your meeting today, love?” Niall asked (Y/N) while the three are having there dinner and wine night

“It went well, more than we expected actually.” She nodded and smiled “How about yours?”

“It went great! Lewis and I will be writing a song or two and it will be our next EP.” Niall answered with ecstatic

“That's great news, Ni!” (Y/N) grinned “I'm sure the fans will be so excited to hear it.”

“Yeah, but we will keep it a secret for now. Maybe next month we will announce it to the fans.” Niall said “So no one knows except us, management, and Lewis of course.”

“Who were you with a while ago?” (Y/N) uncomfortably asked

“A friend of mine.” Niall casually answered “She flew with me yesterday.”
