9 : Boyfriend vs Best Friend (Part 2)

(Y/N)'s POV

“Niall.” I moaned as he starts kissing the spot on my neck

“I miss you so much, baby.” His voice a little raspy “It's been so long.”

“Ni.” I gasped once he cupped my left boob “I already took a shower.”

“I know you want this much as I do.” He huskily said

“I really do want to do this right now, love but--” I said but I was cut off by the ring of a doorbell

“Who's that?” He confusedly asked

“Get dressed, it's (Y/B/F/N). She'll be joining us for breakfast.” I said as I stood up from the bed and put on a decent shirt and shorts

“What? You didn't tell me she is joining us for breakfast.” He said as he grabbed his towel to take a shower

“Well, I didn't have the time to tell you because you started to make out with me last night.” I said

“Good point.” He said “Anyways, I'll be there in a few.”

I nodded and went straight to the front door. When I opened it, I was greeted by my best friend.

“You actually came!” I said and gave her a hug “I knew it you would come.”

“Yeah, nice blackmailing. I still can't believe you use that 'Gigi-Hadid-card', ugh! Good thing you're my best friend.” She said

“Come in! I was just about to make breakfast.” I said “So, what do you want to eat?”

“Whatever is on the menu.” She said then she sat on one of the bar stools

“Great choice because Niall doesn't have enough groceries so what we have right now is waffles.” I said as I look at his pantry

“Does he have whipped cream or honey?” She asked

When I looked inside the refrigerator I nodded “He also has frozen fruits here. I don't think it's expired, so I think it will be enough for all of us.”

“So, I'm guessing, he is still sleeping.” She said

“Nope, he's currently taking a shower.” I said as I prepped the waffles

“Nice place, though.” She said as she look around the room “I was expecting it to be ugly and messy.”

“(Y/B/F/N), you see! He's not what you think it is.” I said

“I'm impressed.” She said “So, he hires a maid or something to clean his shit?”

“Every two weeks.” I answered “It remains clean because Niall happens to have an OCD problem.”

“I see.” She nodded

“Good morning!” Niall said once he walk inside the kitchen “I smell pancakes and it smells delicious.”

“Thanks, love.” I blushed “By the way, this is (Y/B/F/N). You know her, right? I mentioned her to you many times.”

“Of course. Hi, pleasure to meet you, (Y/B/F/N).” Niall said offering his hand to shake “I'm Niall.”

“I know.” She said “I heard so many things about you.”

“I hope they are a good one.” He awkwardly chukled

“Yeah.” She fake smiled as she shook his hand “Some of it.” She murmured to herself but I heard it loud and clear

“Ehem.” I said

“So, is it okay if I borrow (Y/N) for today? I know you just got back from London and I know you badly want to spend your time with her.”

“Of course it's okay.” He said “Management called this morning and said that I have to be at the office this lunch.”

“Oh, new project?” I asked while I put whipped cream on top of the waffles

“Yep, Lewis and I will be working on something.” He answered

“That's great!” I exclaimed “I can't wait.”

After having breakfast, I looked at the time and it's almost 10am.

“I better get ready. (Y/B/F/N) and I can't be late for our meeting, this is very important.” I stood up from my chair and went straight to the bedroon

Niall's POV

“I better get ready. (Y/B/F/N) and I can't be late for our meeting, this is very important.” (Y/N) hurriedly said as she stood up from her seat

We were already finish eating anyways, so I grabbed all of our dishes and put it on my dish washer.

“I can't believe that you can lie in front of her.” (Y/B/F/N) said

“Excuse me?” I confusedly ask

“I know that you are cheating on my best friend.” She said “I saw the pictures and articles that you are hanging out with a girl while you were quarantined in London.”

“I don't know what you're talking about.” I said

“I think her name is Amelia. Am I right?” She asked

“You don't know what you're talking about.” I defended

“Oh, I do.” She smiled “I've been trying to convince (Y/N) that you were spending your quarantine with her but she wouldn't believe me. I don't know what kind of spell that you do to her that makes her believe you, but I'm asking you to stop. Tell her the truth and stop treating her like shit.”

“Look, (Y/B/F/N). We only met for like two hours so you don't have the right to tell me that when you know nothing about me. If that what's the media feed you, I'm telling you, don't believe anything that you see or read. Don't let the articles fool you.” I said “And also, I will never hurt (Y/N) like that. She means the world to me. I love her so much. The last thing that I wanted to do to her is cheat on her.”

“Classic, that's what they always say.”

“Well, I'm sorry to break it up to you but I'm not like everybody. I'm nothing like them and I will never be.” I said

“We'll see about that.”

“Okay! I'm ready, sorry it took me a while.” (Y/N) said as she got all glamed and ready “So, what did I miss?”

“Nothing much.” (Y/B/F/N) casually said “We're just trying to get to know each other.”

“Yeah.” I nodded

“Well, I'm sorry for ruining it but we have to go or else we're going to be late.” (Y/N) said “Let's just continue this later? Wine and beer tonight? How's that sounds?”

“I'm down.” I answered

“How about you, (Y/B/F/N)?” (Y/N) asked

She was a bit hesitant to answer but I grinned when she said “I'm in.”
