"Because I care"

Pa ulit ulit iyon sa utak ko. Bakit niya ginugulo isip ko? Shit! Bakit ko ba yun iniisip? Anong ibig sabihin niya? Arghhhhh!

"Mommy what is daddy's work?" Nabalik lang ako ng magtanong ang anak ko. I looked at him. He keep asking all about his dad.

"Engineer anak" I answered. He got confuse. "What's engineer mommy?" He aksed.

" The onw who build building anak" I answered and stood up since we are sitting on the floor. Sunday ngayon kaya dayy off ko.

"I want to be like daddy" He said and jumped. He want to be like his dad. Maybe, they can change their minds in the future.

"One day anak" I said. He nod and play with his toys. I watched him as he play. He is handsome like his dad. Ma attitude rin minsan. Ilong lang at labi ang namana sa akin. Rest of it sa kanya.

"Mommy what is daddy's face?" He asked while watching his iron man staff toy.

"He's handsoms like you" I answered. He giggle and I smiled. He is so cute. My phone suddenly rang. I excuse my self from him. It was Travis calling me.

"What?"

I heard noise in the other side.

"May ibibigay akong file about sa new upcoming project sa Bulacan. Study this if you will agree"

"Where can I get it?"

"I'll text you the adress. Come here"

"Okay"

I ended the call and go to my son. Kinandong ko siya. "Anak, mommy will go somewhere. What do you want mommy to buy?" I asked him. He think for a while. He understand me everytime I have to leave for work. That't why I love him so much.

"I want a lighting mcqueen stuff toy and a sprinkles" he said. I nod and go out the room. I told his nanny to watch for him because I have to go somewhere.

"Mommy will be home later" pa alam ko at hinalikan noo niya. Lumabas na ako at sumakay na sa kotse. I saw he waved at me. I leave the house. Sa isang mall kami magkikita ni Travis.

Pumasok na ako sa loob since dumating na ako sa mall. Sa isang coffee shop kami magkikita. I saw him  sittining and parang inip na.

"Ang tagal mo naman" reklamo nito.

"Duhh! 4 minutes late lang ako" sabi ko at umupo. He just rolled his eyes.

"Asan na ang folder?" Tanong ko sa kanya. May inilapag siya na folder. Di naman makapal.

"Thank you" sabi ko at kinuha ang folder. "Ma una na ako may pupuntahan pa ako" pa alam ko. Tinawag niya ako pero di ko na nilingon. Dumiretso ako sa isang play store.

Pumunta ako sa panlalaki na laruan. Naghanap pa ako ng lighting mcqueen na stufftoy. Meron sila pero di ko ma abot. Pilit kong abutin yun. Ang taas ba naman ng shelves na ito.

May kumuha sa laruan at ini abot sa akin. Tinignan ko ang kumuha sa laruan. Shocks! Siya?

"Here" he coldly said. Dahan dahan kong kinuha ang stuff toy. "Thank you" pinipigilan ko ang ma utal. Anong ginagawa niya dito.

"I'll go na engineer Arevallo" I said and turned back. Nag simula na akong maglakad pero ramdam ko na nakasunod siya. Pumila na ako. Nagulat ako kasi tumabi siya sa akin.
Lord, sana hindi niya mahalata.

"I'll pay" he stopped me when I was about to give my credit car. "No need, I'll pay" I refused and he stopped me again. He got his credit card and give it to the cashier. Ibinalik ko na lang sa wallet ang card ko. Bahala na para sa anak din nama niya yun eh.
