I just now realized I forgot to mention that Endeavor did not die during the encounter in the alleyway.

Man I'm bad at this.

But hey, he's not dead.

*Dabi's POV*

By the time I had woken up, Aika was already out of the room in the living room. Hawks was still asleep and cuddled into my side. His wing was draped over me and Aika, which surprised me. She was somehow able to sneak away without waking him.

He looked so peaceful like that, curled up beside me asleep. He hadn't cleaned off his face the night prior, so the eyeliner on his face had smudged off on my shirt. So, that sucked, but it's fine.

I slowly tried to maneuver my way away from him. His grip tightened around my waist and I felt him bury his face in my shirt.

Suddenly, the door bust open and Aika ran in.

"Eito's here!" She yelled excitedly before running back out. Hawks jumped, nearly hitting me with his wings. He sat up, looking over at her after releasing me from his grip.

"Wait, he's here?" He asked, wide eyed as he pushed himself out of the bed. I heard a thud as he fell out to the ground.

"Yeah, he knocked on the door, so I let him in."

"Girlie you can't do that." Hawks stood up, wiping his face as he stood up. I didn't tell him about his eyeliner, he would find out eventually.

"Why not?"

"It's dangerous." Aika frowned, tilting her head before looking back down the hallway.

"But, but it's just Eito?"

I chuckled, standing up as well as Aika ran back out of the room. Hawks and I followed her to the front door that had been left wide open. Sure enough, Eito was standing right outside. He had this glare on his face directed mainly at Hawks.

"You said you would let me know if you found them." He turned back to Aika who was beaming. "How are you doing Aika?"

"I'm good. I got to meet new friends yesterday, and, one of them did my hair." She looked off to the side before she started to talk again. "And, I really liked it." Eito smiled down at her before looking back up to me and Hawks.

"Well, I was just stopping by to make sure that everything was okay and that everyone was alright. M'bout to head off to work. If any of y'all want to stop by for ice cream or just to talk, the door's open." He smirked before waving and turning back around.

Aika's eyes lit up as she looked back to me.

"Touya, can we get ice cream today?" She asked, bouncing on her feet as she beamed at me. I looked over to Hawks, who shrugged before heading back to the room.

"Not my choice, I need to go too." He turned back around, holding up his phone. "I never told you this, but my number's on the fridge." He smirked, disappearing into the room. I sighed, turning back to Aika.

"You know what? Sure." She smiled wider, hugging onto my waist.

"Thank you!" She didn't let go, instead just standing there. After a few seconds, I heard the bathroom door slam open.

"You are an asshole." I heard Hawks snap behind me. I looked back over to him, biting my lip to keep laughing.

"What's the matter birdie?" He scrunched up his nose before using his hand to circle his face.
