"If it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get." Tomura growled, opening the door while not looking back. "We can't stand down so easily. If we do, we're not a threat."
He got to his room, sucking in a huge breath before coughing. At first it was only one, but it slowly started to increase in numbers. Every cough stung at his throat and lungs, feeling as if something was going to rip out of his throat.
"God, shit!" He hissed, leaning against the door. Two dull yellow daffodil petals fell from his elbow onto the ground. Tomura had no clue what it meant, but definitely knew it wouldn't be good.
The first thing that came to mind was how he had been feeling the last couple days. He had been feeling, off, for sure. However, he definitely didn't remember eating any of the flowers. If he did, he would've had way worse symptoms anyway.
He knew he couldn't ask anyone about it. No, they would just think he was being dramatic. He couldn't just brush it off though. For all he knew, he could be dying.
Hell, he probably was at this point.
Tomura sighed, picking up the petals from off the ground. They were so pretty, but he hated them so much. He held one between his fingers, glancing over it for a second before ripping it in half. It was too small for him to easily disintegrate, so he didn't bother even taking his gloves off.
He took out his phone, determined to get to the bottom of whatever was going on with him. So, he did what any normal human would do.
He looked up his symptoms.
The related questions that showed up frightened him.
What is Hanahaki?
How does someone die from Hanahaki?
Can I cure Hanahaki?
He looked deeper into it. The flowers in his lungs, the love that it steamed from. Hell, he didn't even know he could still love anyone. Who could it even-
And then he realized who was causing it.
That just caused him to cough more.

I am so so so sorry I haven't updated.
I'm so sorry it's so short.
I promised this was going to be out earlier, and yet I didn't until today.
School's started, but in half of those classes I can still write.
I've really just been procrastinating, but it's not because I don't like this story.
I absolutely love it.
I've just been focused on other shit right now.
Again, I'm so sorry.
I love y'all.
