*Hawks's POV*

"I'm sorry Hawks, I can't have you over for the next few days. I just don't have any room." Miruko explained. I nodded and shrugged as a response. I had asked her if I could stay over while my wings healed.

"It's fine. I'll figure something out."

"Do you want help getting into your room?" She asked, leaning on the door.

"When I tried, I fell three stories." Rumi gave me a concerned look before shaking her head. I knew that look, she was about to say something that proved how stupid what I just said was.

"I can jump further than you can. I'll get to your balcony and let you in from the front, easy." I shook my head slightly.

"Thank you, but I don't really want to be alone in my apartment building." I admitted, thinking back to the incident that took place about an hour ago. Rumi sighed,  rolling her eyes.

"And why is that?"

"Unimportant."

"Okay. Suit yourself." She said suspiciously. However, she immediately dropped it. "Do, you know what you are going to do the next few days?"

"No, not really. I'll figure it out, don't worry."

"Okay, just, if you don't figure it out, tell me." She didn't specify how that would help, but I nodded.

"Yeah, thanks Rumi. I'll see you in a few days." She nodded, calling back to me as I walked away.

"See ya bird boy." I heard the door shut behind me and I sighed. Welp, I've exhausted all my options. I could try Fuyumi and Natsuo, but I don't think that's a good idea either. Actually, scratch that. That's a horrible idea. Wouldn't it?

(P.s, no, Hawks has no clue that Touya was a Todoroki's. Just wanted to clear that up.)

I started to walk aimlessly, not really thinking about where the fuck I was going. I dug my hand into my pocket, recoiling at the feeling of the bloodied petals. The blood was dried, thankfully, so I didn't get any on my hand, but it probably dried into the pocket as well.

I was near Aruna's ice cream place when I finally picked up my phone and called Fuyumi. I leaned against the wall, listening to it rung a few times before I heard a woman's voice.

"Fuyumi speaking?"

"Hey Fuyumi."

"Oh, hey Hawks. How are you doing?"

"Pretty alright. And you?"

"Well, I'm doing good. Is there any particular reason you wanted to call me?"

"What would make you say that?"

"Oh please. You don't call anyone unless you need an immediate response. I'm all ears."

"Ya got me." I sighed, glaring up at the sky. "I was wondering if I could maybe stay over at yours for a few? I locked myself out of my apartment and can't fly up." I heard something on the other side before she responded.

"I can't, I'm sorry. You know I would want to help, but my father.."

"Yeah, I know. Don't worry about it. I've got somewhere else." Lies. I saw someone enter the shop beside me, but ignored them.
