Chapter 5: They are watching!!

The first thing Bright did was consult Gulf on what had happened to him the previous night... to which Gulf chuckled slightly cause it was a first for him as well.

"What if the "gentleman" liked you rather than your sister" Gulf joked earning a light punch from Bright

"Yeah right" Bright rolled his eyes at Gulf "How was the meeting yesterday" he inquired

"It went well, they asked me a few questions but overall they were impressed by the proposal" Gulf said proudly

A fews weeks went by smoothly with no "Senior Puifai" annoying them, but what had happened to her, the interns wondered. No one was ready to tell what had happened. Even Mild had his lips tightly sealed.

The weeks were closing in very quickly and the internship period was ending quickly. Gulf and Bright did their best in the last few weeks so that they would get good recommendations from their supervisors.

The interns retreat was scheduled in the last week of the internship. The retreat this year was at the aqua park and the interns were gearing up for it. Bright and Gulf did their best to finish their graduation projects so that they could attend the retreat without any hinderances. The 2 day 1 night trip was covered completely by the company.

The day came and the ever so excited Gulf and Bright climbed the bus headed for the retreat, all the interns were enjoying their time in the bus. Once they go down they were instructed that they could go ahead to swim and play and that their luggage would be sent to their rooms.

Like excited little kids Gulf and Bright jumped into the pool heading towards the largest water slide. The hotel that overlooked the park was owned by the MSJ company, therefore reservations were never a problem. The problem was that there were two men looking from the suite rooms down on the interns playing around like kids.

"You fell for him hard, didn't you" the first man said to the second

"Same to you" retorted the second man

At that moment both looked at the interns playing around and then at each other and smiled

"No special treatment from my side, I'll let the HR do the first screening, then I'll do the second one" said the first man

"Even if he passes the first round the second might be biased due to your judgement" the second proposed

"How about during his round you precede over the panel and for yours I'll precede, fair enough" the first man said

"Agreed" he smiled and then both of them shifted their eyes towards the playing interns

"Bright I am tired, I am tanned like a dark chocolate" Gulf complained looking at his flushed skin

"Gulf, go inside and rest, I know you don't like water or outdoors" Bright said and continued playing with others as Gulf trotted towards his room. Since the rooms were decided from earlier on so he knew which room was his. He took a quick shower and headed to take a nap. He woke up at 6:00 pm and saw that Bright was in the rooms as well. They decided to get dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The special of the day was seafood... most of the menu consisted of seafood. Bright and Gulf both knew that Gulf cannot eat seafood as he is allergic to it.

"Shall we head outside to get food" Bright said

"No, they have chicken on their menu, I'll get that " Gulf said as he didn't want to go anywhere else, too lazy to do that.

They ordered food and after gobbling down, they decided to play Fifa on the PS4 in the gaming lounge. After playing they headed to their rooms. On their way they heard people talking , they ignored it and walked past them. Curiosity caught the best of Gulf and he peeked out. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw the side profile of the same man whose "mouse vanish" suit Gulf spoiled. Why was he here? Gulf though to himself before getting pulled by Bright into the room.

On the bed, both the interns slept like dead fishes. Morning came and they packed their stuff and headed to the bus. The last day at the company was filled with blessings for the two boys to succeed where ever they worked. 

In the last week of graduation, they had to present their graduation projects to their professor and a panel of judges who would ask questions. The panel was randomly selected by the college but it mainly consisted of the executives of the leading companies. This was another opportunity for the about-to-be graduates to show their potentials to their employers to-be.

I will be hopefully posting one chapter per day. I know my chapters are short but this is how much I can extract from my brain in a day. 

I will try writing longer chapter hopefully.
