Chapter 31: Forgive not forget...

Win being devastated was now also heart broken. He cursed himself day and night.

Being over stressed, he was bed ridden in the hospital for days....

"Dude, eat something" Mew said bringing food to Win

"It was all my fault, I lost them both, Mew, what should I do now, tell me, it hurts so much" Win sobbed into Mew's chest

"Calm down and eat and then we can talk" Mew said patting Win

Mew knew how devastated Win was. Mew, Win and Seo were the best of friends, but Seo and Win were very very close. These three would often sit and joke around........

Win refused to eat a morsel of food...

"If you don't eat then how will you try to rectify yourself, just because he said you shouldn't meet him are you gonna listen to him " Mew was getting irritated, starving is not going to help Win anyway

Win then picked up the porridge and tried eating it slowly, Mew was right, he needed energy to work things out...

As Win was eating, Mew recalled a day when the three were joking around in the office

"Are you even serious?" Seo asked, staring at Win and then shaking his head.

"I am, would you mind?" Win answered honestly, and blushing like crazy

"It's his choice, not mine" Seo answered "but if you hurt him, I am going to kill you"

"Calm down Seo, don't go becoming a protective brother all of the sudden" Mew laughed

"What if he doesn't like me?" Win asked Seo

"That's his choice, also" Seo laughed hard

"Tell me his likes and dislikes?" Win asked

"Football and singing, he loves them" Seo answered "but, if you really like him, find about him yourself"

"He is still a kid" Mew interjected

"He is in college, first year" Win answered proudly

"You have done your initial investigations, huh" Seo laughed

"Dude, I go to your house almost everyday, it has been more than 6 years that I know him" Win said

"You are gross, Win" Mew laughed

"No, No, I started liking him when he reached his second year in high school" Win justified

"Good thing, you didn't make your move or else I would have killed you then and there" Seo stated clearly

Fast forward to the day of the incident

"Seo, once we accomplish this mission, I am going to confess to Bright" Win stated to Seo

"Do what you want, he is old enough to make his decisions, you have my blessings" Seo said as Win left the car and headed to the cruise ship

"Tell him you like him" the words resonated in Wins ears

How can I even tell him now.......

Mew came back to reality.

"Are you done eating, Win" Mew asked "Now take rest, I'll come in the evening"

Mew tucked in Win and switched off the lights and left the door

Ping, Ping

Mew took out his phone

"How is he?" The text read

"He is doing better" Mew replied

"Send me the address, the poor boy is suffering" the text read

Mew texted the location and send it "He is asleep, come in the evening, he would be awake by then"

Hours passed by and Win's hospital room was knocked

"Come in" Win said, Mew never knocked and the nurse just popped in so who was this......

The door opened and Win was startled

"Please come in " Win said almost getting up from his bed

"Stay in bed, you are the patient" she smiled "How are you feeling"

"I am doing better, thank you" Win settled in "How is Liz and ......"

"Bright right? They are fine. It is hard, but they are trying" Brights mom got up from the chair and hugged Win "Don't blame yourself, it becomes harder for me, I don't want to lose another son, Win, you will alway be a son to me"

Win sobbed

"Don't worry about Bright, he will come around, just give him sometime, he was too attached to Seo"

"I have no word to say" Win couldn't stop himself

"Don't, whats happened has happened, Seo liked you, and so did I, we will always be family" Mom stopped him mid-day

Crying, Win slept in Bright's moms arm and she slowly put him on the bed. She looked at him and thought, what a poor boy, he is too burdened, she closed the lights and left the room

Months later Bright still didn't contact Win, neither picked up his calls.. he almost forgot Win until he met him on the interview day, where he acted like he never knew who Win was or did he forget him completely......

Win on the other hand kept in contact with Bright's mom daily, he swore to protect and take care of this family till he died

Because of continuous altercation between Win and Bright, Win decreased his visit to the Vachirawit family, phone calls were enough for now.........

Bright to this day had no idea that his mom and Win talked on regular basis.

What surprised his mom the most was when she saw Win present the badge to Bright for the MSJC and lucky he didn't punch Win blue black

Did he actually lose his memories???

After Seos' death, Bright got PTSD from cruise ships and he could not get near them no matter what, and he blamed Win for this. Every time he saw a cruise ships, he would remember the day he was briefed about his brothers death and his brothers face on the death bed would pop in front of him. His build up stress was another triggering factor for his PTSD..................

I might forgive you but I will never forget, Bright though internally, all of this was because of you
