Chapter 42: Party!!

"Gulf are you all right" Bright couldn't believe Gulf's complexion "You are walking funny"

"I am not right all" Gulf couldn't believe this at all

"Do you want me to take you to the clinic" Bright offered

"Yeah, I will take up on that" as they headed to the elevator which opened up and a busy Mew was spotted

"Where you off too, its not lunch yet" Mew knew about the boys schedule

"Clinic, Gulf is not feeling well" Bright said as understanding hit Mew

"Let's take him to my office to rest, the sofa is comfier than the clinic bed" Mew said as he handed his office keys to Gulf

"It's all because of you" Gulf mumbled enough for Mew to hear him

"I am sorry, I told you take off, but you didn't want to" Mew reasoned as he told Gulf early morning to sleep in but Gulf was stubborn to leave his work 

"I want my record to be perfect " Gulf said as he walked away using Bright as a support

Mew knew he was at fault but he told Gulf that no one would write anything on his employment forum without his permission, but Gulf was too adamant.............

"Why was it Mew's fault" Bright had heard Gulf's mumbling

"I'll ask you when it's your turn" and then it hit Bright, he didn't ask further

"Do you want a cold pack?"

"No, I want to sleep, I took the pain killers, if you are busy go, I am fine" Gulf said to Bright as he was constantly getting texts

"Its Win" Bright said as he shook his head "Text me if you need my help"

"He will call me not you if he needed anything" Mew said as he entered his office

"Jealous much" Bright said as he left the room

"Feeling better"

"Better, my ass" Gulf retorted

"Exactly, your ass" Mew laughed and then stopped as he saw Gulf glaring at him "Sorry. Next time, it will be during the weekend"

"There is no next time" Gulf said as he put the blanket on his face and dozed off

Mew, Bright and Gulf were sitting down for apparently a very important meeting that Mew had called

"Is everything all right" Bright asked "Where is Wi....President Win" Bright corrected himself

"It's fine, call him Win like usual" Mew laughed

"So?" Gulf started

"I am going to leave you both in-charge of a very important proposal. No one should know about this"

"Sure" both the boys said as Mew handed then the documents and as the boys opened it they couldn't believe it... was Mew joking with them

"Seriously" Gulf started

"Sorry, you both were too serious, I couldn't help it" Mew laughed

"Win's surprise birthday party" Bright started "this was the proposal that you want us to work at"

"Yes, actually the plan is no joke" Mew corrected them "there will be dignitaries and leaders attending the celebration and I want it to be the best, that's why I am putting you both uncharge of it... the budget is open, get the best of the best"

"We will get it done" the boys said together

Little did they realize that saying was easier than doing it........ but they managed to get it done on time.... All without Win even knowing anything about it... Mew had borrowed Bright from Win saying that he was short of staff and Win didn't mind at all...

2 days before the party Mew took the boys to a suit boutique to get their custom made suits made and that is were Gulf came to know the actual price the suit he had damaged..... it was 6 digits in US dollar, unbelievable.............what a waste of money

Once their suits were put into order, Mew kicked the boys out knowing all too well that they would whine once they know the cost of the suits....

"Go get some ice-cream, I'll meet you later" Mew said as the boys left

After the payment it was shoes and accessory time to which Mew set the boys choose, money was never a problem..........

The day of the party came and the boys were visibly stressed

"Calm down, you just have to welcome the guests" as Mew had told them. He was going to get Win for the party

The party was full-blown, guests came pouring in, from dignitaries, to celebrities, political leaders to prominent moguls...this was no run of the mill party, but this is also where Bright and Gulf understood where they stood in a social circle, whilst their boyfriends were at the top of the chain they were no where near it

Bright was also the MC of the party, it was his role to entertain the guests and keep the flow of the party, Gulf was helping Bright in the side lines, knowing full how stressed his friend was....

"Ready" Mew texted Gulf, Gulf gave Bright the okay and he asked the guests to be silent as they had planned earlier

The door opened and a blindfolded Win walked in beside Mew

"Mew, where are you taking me, this is not funny" Mew walked Win up the stairs and turned him to face the audience, the moment he pulled of the blindfold, his guest started singing the birthday song and Win had no words to say........

One by one his guest congratulated him and he received the presents.... Bright knowing that Mew had taken over went out to take a deep breath....finally, his work was over, but the feeling in his stomach didn't go away.......

"Bright where are you?" Gulf texted him

"Outside, taking in oxygen"

"Win, is looking for you, shall I send him outside"

"Don't, tell him I am coming in" Bright didn't want the main guest to be outside the hall, so he swallowed the nauseating feeling and headed inside, a step at a time...........

"Bro, happy birthday" Mellow, Win's youngest sister chimed and hugged him

"Thank you" Win said hugging her back

"Where is mom?" Win looked around

"Inside, she said she will talk with you once you are free"

"Why do you have bags under your eyes.... Don't tell me its him again"

"I can never hide anything from you" Mellow laughed sadly

Win hugged her again, poor sister of his and the nerve of the guy to upset her again, he then placed his forehead against her's for a few seconds

"Now, energy recharged, break up with him, you deserve better" Win said as he heard footsteps running away from where he stood......

"Bright said he will come to you, I told him where you were at" Gulf's text pinged on Win's phone

Shit, shit............... Win ran after the person immediately

"Mellow, we will talk later" Win said as he dashed away...............
