Chapter 34: Sneaky...

A brand new day, a beautiful sunshine, an a blushing Gulf at the morning breakfast table

"Gulf are you fine" His mom said as she placed her hand on his forehead

"I am fine" Gulf said immediately standing up "I will be late, I am heading out" Gulf almost ran out off his house

Honk Honk, a car honked as Gulf left his apartment building, making Gulf turning around to see who it was.

There he was, Mew, he drove his car towards Gulf and Gulf opened the door and got in

"Good morning" he said not meeting eyes

"Morning, sweetheart" Mew said smiling making Gulf almost gag at Mew's cheesiness

They drove in silence.

"Can you.." Gulf started "not pick me up from tomorrow"

"Why?" Mew was confused

"I don't want people to see us together like this"

"But you already accepted my confession. I want the world to know that you are mine"

"As much as I know that, the world would never agree to me going out with you. I am no where near you in any aspect, neither wealth, neither prestige, neither........"

"For me that doesn't matter, I love you and that is all what matter" Mew cut Gulf mid-sentence "I don't want to hear this come out of your mouth again" Mew said and then there was silence

Gulf immediately understood that the atmosphere had changed. He just wanted Mew to understand his perspective..... did he choose the wrong approach

"Mew" Gulf started but he was met with silence

"Mew, will you listen to me" Mew just continued looking forwards as he drove

"I am sorry" again silence. How can he make up with Mew now.....

Gulf then took Mew's right hand in his and intertwined his fingers shocking Mew. The car halted at the red light and Mew turned to Gulf, finally he was looking at him

"I don't want people teasing you about your choices. I don't want the reporters to annoy you about me, I don't want to jeopardize your lifestyle" Gulf continued

So this what you were worried about, Gulf was worried about Mew's status, Mew couldn't believe that his lover was looking out for him

The lights changed to green and Mew drove again. He tightened their hands and smiled at Gulf, melting him in his spot

"I'll take care of that, you on the other hand, don't worry about measly things" Mew reassured Gulf

Finally the car was filled with Gulf chattering about his friends and college life. Mew listened attentively but didn't interrupt him, only few hmmm and oh's

They reached the basement of the company and Mew parked his car. They got down and headed to the CEO's private elevator. Mew got in and pulled Gulf in, little did Gulf know that someone was watching him........

They went to the Mew's office and started working. Mew left for a meeting as Gulf continued to organize the paper work in Mew's office.....

An hour later, Mew's office door opened and Mew came in exhausted from the meeting. He closed the door behind him and locked it, all while Gulf was oblivious to his surrounding or what had even happened.

"Gulf" Mew said as he stepped forward

"Are you all right" Gulf said looking up from his papers and then walked towards where Mew stood "I'll get some cold water for you" he was worried about Mew

"No, I am fine" Mew stopped Gulf, if Gulf headed to the door now, he would know that it was locked, he didn't want to scare Gulf "I just want to recharge my battery"

"Oh, then I'll get you your favorite earl grey tea" Gulf started again

"No, I don't want that" Mew couldn't believe how empty-headed his lover was

"Then how about you rest on that sofa, your next meeting is after 2 hours" Gulf said trying to think of ways to elevate Mew's exhaustion

"Why not" Mew said as Gulf took his hand and led him to the sofa, he made Mew sit and headed to the cupboard to get a blanket for him.....

"Go to sleep now" Gulf said trying to push Mew to lay down but Mew had other plans, he pulled Gulf's hand and made him sit next to him on one end of the sofa

"What are you doing, Mew?" Gulf was shocked

"I told you I need to recharge my battery" Mew said as he placed his head on Gulf's lap and smiled up at a shocked Gulf

"Seriously, what if someone walks in" Gulf was worried about all the wrong reasons

"Don't worry about that" Mew said with a smile followed by a wink

"Your antics are crazier than a child" Gulf said as he ran his fingers through Mew's hair

"Don't call me a child, I am your lover" Mew whined

"Yeah... yeah" Gulf couldn't help but laugh

I will always protect that smile, I'll kill anyone that would make my baby sad, Mew though to himself

"Your hair is soft" Gulf said as he continued running his hand through Mew's hair

"Keep touching it until you have had your fill then" Mew enjoyed the sensation of Gulf's hand through his hair

"Now go ahead and rest, wasn't that the reason you got me here" Gulf said as he tried to close Mew's eyes with his hand

Mew removed Gulf's hand and extended his hand towards Gulf's hair

"Your hair has structure" Mew said as he placed his hand behind Gulf's head

"I know" Gulf said knowing his hair were rougher than the sand but what he didn't know was what Mew had planned next

Within seconds Mew had pulled Gulf's head closer to him and kissed him on his lips and held him in that position

"mmmmmmmmm" Gulf waved his hand in the air, indicating lack of breath and Mew released him

"Now I am fully charged" Mew said as he got up from Gulf's lap and smiled like an idiot

Gulf took deep breaths as he steadied himself "Mew, at least give me a heads up" Gulf couldn't believe Mew at all "this was your original plan, wasn't it" Gulf gave an angry eye to Mew

"You found out" Mew said sheepishly "I'll be expecting my battery to be recharged every morning"

"You got to be kidding me...." Gulf couldn't believe his ears

"I am serious" Mew said getting up and heading to his table to continue his paper work

Gulf shook his head and heading to work as well...... he was in trouble, like serious trouble or should he say lovers trouble
