Chapter 44: New ..Her*

Gulf was working in the office when there was a knock and the door opened

"Mr. Mew" Tar welcomed him in "How can I help you?"

"We have a new staff" Mew said as a beautiful girl stepped in

"Hello, everyone" she gave a small bow "I am Pan Lok, the new secretary for CEO Mew, please take care of me"

"Welcome" Tar said " there is your seat " he led her to the empty table

"We will meet later" she said as Mew turned to leave. Gulf made eye contact with Mew and then Mew left the room

"Take morning easy, I'll give you the work in the evening" Tar said to her. He was playing favorites. Gulf remembered the first day he came, he was bombarded with work unlike Pan, but he didn't care

Tea time came and Gulf got up from his seat the he was stopped by Tar

"Take her with you" Tar ordered

"Why? I am only going to make tea" Gulf was confused

"Yeah, that's why. Take her and teach her. She needs to learn as well, in case you are no there one day" Tar said as Gulf left the room followed by Pan. Unknown to Gulf Pan turned and gave a thumbs up to Tar for what he had done

"This is how you make tea" Gulf explained the process to her making sure that she was learning. Gulf then prepared the tea and was about to head to the office when he got a call from one of their business partner. He went out to receive the call. Pan on the other hand, took the tea cup and headed to Mew's office, without knocking she proceed inside.....

"Mew, I made you tea" she said as she set the tea cup on the table

"Where is Gulf?" Mew was sure that this task was delegated to Gulf, so he couldn't help but ask, and not only that, tea time was the time he could appreciate his lover, even if he had 10 mins to do so.......

Pan ignored him...

"Where is Gulf? Don't make me repeat, also it CEO or Sir, not Mew, I am not your friend, I am your superior....put that in your brain, the only reason I am kicking you out is out of respect to Mr.Lok...." Mew was angry

Knock knock

"Come in " Mew said

"Me......, Sir" Gulf changed his tone and annotation the moment he saw Pan in the room "your tea is here" Gulf said placing a new cup on the table, this was Mew's cup

"You, take this and get out" Mew said to Pan, as she picked it up and headed outside

Out of anger she trashed the cup and headed angrily to the office............

"Gulf come here" Mew said as Gulf walked towards him "Message my shoulder please, I love it when you do it, it distresses me" Mew said smiling

Gulf knew that Mew was exhausted from the recent business deals, so he did what Mew wanted. Slowly and steadily, he applied pressure on his shoulder as Mew hummed to the comfort..... Minutes later, Mew almost dozed off to the comfort and Gulf was running out of free time so he needed to leave, so he removed his suit jacket and placed on top of Mew, pecked him softly on his lips and left the room.

Gulf was minding his business, but someone was just not minding theirs

"How can you even present yourself so unprofessionally" Tar just couldn't stop his antics

Gulf remained silent, silence is better than a drama

"Don't drag Mr. Mew's reputation down" Pan injected

"He is doing no such thing" Mew said as he stood at the door

"Sir" Tar and Pan both almost choked

"You forgot your jacket, here" he said as he approached and put the jacket on his chair, where he was sitting

"Love you" Mew couldn't help but whisper into Gulf's ears, and red as a tomato did Gulf become

Mew left the room, not only stunning Gulf, but the on-lookers as well

Mew and Gulf were having dinner at Mew's house, it was like a habit now for them to have dinner together...

"Gulf, can we make our relationship public?" Mew really wanted it out there, this was the only way to stop his mother from sending any more proposals, he didn't care if he angered his mother in the process....he wanted it public and that was all..

"Not now, Mew, I am not ready"

"Please, Gulf, we have been dating for long, I don't want any one else looking at you"

"Mew, not everyone is open up to the idea of gays, even your own family is not open to it"

"I'll convince them" Mew really wanted Gulf to agree

"No, means no" Gulf ended the conversation and they ate the rest in silence.....

After dinner, Gulf washed the dishes as a thanks but Mew was sulking at him, but for this topic Gulf didn't cave in, he wouldn't so early, he was scared......

Days went by and they had minimal interaction, they only met if necessary or related to business, they no longer met for dinner, Mew's level of sulking was more than 1000, Gulf didn't know what to do..... the only way was to agree to Mew's demand but Gulf couldn't......

He decided to talk to Mew...he texted Mew and got the reply an hour later. Gulf was not angry, he knew Mew was busy......

Gulf opened the door only to find the horrendous scene in front of him....like could it not get any better

Pan was hugging Mew and he was hugging her back. Mew looked up and there was glint in his eyes. He hugged her tighter upon Gulf's arrival...... he was trying to make Gulf jealous...

"What are you doing?" Gulf couldn't help but ask

Mew steadied Pan who was red from the hug and held her to his side

"I twisted my ankles and tripped, as I was about to fall, Mew caught me" Pan was elated the Mew had hugged her.

"Oh really" Gulf asked "Are you all right?" He said as he went to Pan as Mew was shocked that Gulf was not getting upset

Gulf bend down and pressed on both of Pan's ankle, she didn't even flinch

"Your acting is grade A+" Gulf said as he got up "You should have found better ways to anger me" he turned to Mew

"Come Pan, I'll help you to the clinic, you need immediate attention" he held Pan's hand and dragged her out

Mew stood like a stupid person, not knowing what to do.......... did he make a mistake?
