Chapter 40: Forgive you...

"Mom, how long has this being going on and don't tell me recently " Bright was adamant

"We never broke the connection" mom said slowly

"Really!!!!"

"What did we promise, Bright" mom reminded him of his promis "where is Win?"

"He will come on his own"

"I told you to bring him along" Mom couldn't believe her son

"Oh, does he even know our address!"

Mom didn't say anything as the bell rang, Bright got up to open the door and let Win inside

"Good evening mom," Win said hugging her and went to sit on the chair

"My son, have a seat" Mom said "Let's have dinner before we talk"

Mom had prepared Win's favorite grilled chicken..."Dig in" Mom said and no one moved

"What am I gonna do with these kids" Mom shook her

"Mom, I am back" Liz said as she walked in through the door

"Where were you so late?" Bright questioned her

"I had work bro" Liz said "Oh, Bro Win you are here again?" Liz said as she sat next to Win, like who would not take the opportunity to sort next to the richest bachelor on the planet

"Again?" Bright questioned "What do you mean?"

"I said alone......., you heard me wrong" Liz corrected him

Mom served the chicken to the boys and out of habit Win picked up his plate and changed with Bright, by the time he had realized it was too late. His mom knew that Bright is going to throw a fit but surprisingly he didn't, now that is progress. Bright just focused on his meal as Win and mom made small talks

"I'll excuse myself as I have to complete to work" Liz said excusing the elders as she noticed the tense atmosphere mainly due to Bright

"Mom, can you tell me the truth" Bright started

"Promise me that you will not get angry"

"I promise" Bright said lifting his hand in the air earning a chuckle from Win, and he glared at him

"Win and I have been in contact since forever, we never stopped. He has been coming to this apartment and helping me out......." Bright couldn't believe his mom

"Mom was I not enough, I am alway there for you, why would you need him for... what about me, have I never given you support, that you needed to go to him"

"Bright, my son, I love you but I love Win as much, I never had 2 sons, I have 4 sons. I loved them equally, any one important to my kids is important to me" Mom patted Bright's back and hugged Bright

"Bright" Win started "I am not asking you to forgive me, I know that you hate me, I know how important Seo was to you, but please" Win said as he got up from the sofa and sat on the floor in front of Bright holding his hand in his, stunning him "believe me when I say I didn't mean any of it, I'll do anything to prove that I will take care of you and your family, Seo, he is my brother, best friend and my companion, I would do anything for him, starting from talking care of his family like my own...... believe me, please" Win was close to crying and a tear rolled out of his eyes

Unconsciously Bright removed his hand from WIn's grasp and wiped off the tear surprising even Win....... Now even Bright was crying. His heart was feeling queasy looking at Win cry, he hated seeing Win cry, he hated how Win was begging to him, the Win who he knew was not this........

"Bright are you all right" Win said looking at him in the eyes

"I am fine" Bright said not meeting Win's eyes

Bright stood up and walked out "I will try" Bright said to Win as he closed his door and headed straight to the bathroom and broke down

How much was he hurting...how much had I hurt Win...... how blinded by his anger was he....he never meant any of this.......Win has always been there for him......was he being unfair.......... He remembered all the times, he pushed, screamed, scolded and threw his anger on Win whilst Win had said nothing in return.............. Win tolerated his antics.. why Win? Win?.....

Bright remembered Seo letters "Win loves you Bright.....give him a chance".... Now Bright even cried more

Win would not even like him after what he has done to him, forget love....he destroyed his happiness himself.....

Bright's sobs caught Win's attention outside

"Mom, is he alright..." Win was getting unsettled, he hated Bright's crying voice the most, it killed him internally ....when Win couldn't take it anymore, he got up and went to Bright's room and banged on Bright's door

"Bright open up.." Win almost ordered

"Bright, I'll break this door if you don't open now" Win was banging on the door but Bright didn't open

Minutes later Win knocked softly "Bright, please open up, please" Win pleaded

But Bright didn't open........ Win then sat in front of the door with his back towards the door

Bright didn't have the heart to open the door, how much has he hurt this man, but he was still there for him

Win, I am sorry.....Bright spoke internally, he knew Win would be more upset if he saw Bright's swollen eyes right now. Hours later Bright slowly opened the door only to find Win sleeping at his door, he almost fell as Bright caught him and carried him to his bed, poor Win should be thankful that he didn't break his neck in the position he slept. Bright placed Win on his bed and turned to place the blanket when Win pulled his hand and dragged him to the bed

"Win, let me go" Bright squirmed within Win's grasp but Win said nothing. Bright looked up only to find a sleeping Win, oh so he did it unconsciously. Bright gave into pressure as Win hugged him as he slept......

Bright dozed off in Win's arm, this was the first night he slept as comfortability, but sleep took over him quite quickly.......Comfort

The door to Bright's room opened and Bright's mom came in and set the blanket on the boys. She kissed Bright's right temple as his face was covered in Win's chest and then she went to do the same to Win's left temple and then she headed towards the door

"I know you are awake, you can't escape my eyes my son" and then she closed the light and then door chuckling at his antics
