Chapter 83: Prep 3.....

The day was finally there. The preparation were in full throttle. The Kanawut and the Vachirawits were definitely not having it any easier. Why? Well.......

A week ago, the families met Mew and Win respectively. They were invited to the socialite gathering and both of them refused straight out. They didn't want to embarrass their kids in front of the crowd, but Mew and Win after hours of talking finally convinced them to attend. But then came the second obstacle in their life. The appropriate dress to wear to such an event, the families had none, because they never belonged to a high society where they needed such fancy clothes for appearance sake.

"Don't worry.... The dresses will arrive on the day" Mew told the Kanawut family

"Win, I need the blue one please" Liz told her brother in law

"I'll send all the best ones for you both and you can choose" Win patted Liz's head and pecked Bright's mothers' forehead

And that settled the obstacle. But the biggest obstacle was to avoid telling Gulf and Bright that their families were invited as well

On floor 21, the bell rang in the Kanawut's and Vachirawit's house. They were stunned the moment they opened the door. Every know brand had send their representative with carts of designer clothes, shoes and accessories for the families. That left the families speechless, but they knew that something big was going to happen and since they already gave Mew and Win the go ahead, they accepted it. The clothes coordinator, makeup artist and the accessories coordinator got to work. They had 5 hours before the party and they needed to make sure that everything was perfect, after all their brand name was on the line.

On the 95th floor, Gulf was angry at Mew and not talking to him

"Gulf, I didn't do this. Believe me. It was all Mr.Ralph, he coordinated and send all this" Mew reasoned with Gulf, but Gulf was not ready to accept it all.

"I told you only the suit Mew... the suit" Gulf shook his head and pointed at the customized shoes, tie, cufflinks, tie pin, brooch and the handkerchief "what is all this?"

"Gulf, please...... do we have to talk about this now?"

"Then when can we talk about it? When I die" Gulf was sarcastic but he meant none of it

But Mew didn't reply to him and his face become sullen. Even though it was a sudden burst of angry, Gulf knew he made the wrong comment

"I am sorry" Gulf stood from his chair and hugged Mew "I didn't mean to say that" he pecked Mew's neck but Mew continued to maintain his silence

"I'll do anything to make it up to you" Gulf nuzzled Mew's neck

"Anything?" Mew said as he held Gulf in his hands and looked at him straight

"Yes" Gulf gave in

"Then you will wear all of that so that we can match" Mew gave him a teasing smile

"Where you joking with me?" Gulf was shocked as he saw Mew's face

"You know that I can never get angry at you, no matter what you do... right?" Mew winked at Gulf

Damn, Gulf was caught in Mew's trap and well, he had no where to run now.

The bell rang and Gulf was startled and then looked at Mew

"Did you call someone over?" Gulf asked as Mew walked towards the door and opened it. They had finally arrived..... the stylists were here

"They are here to help us with getting ready"

"Do we need them?" Gulf knew he was perfectly capable of dressing himself, he was no kid

"We do..." Mew sat Gulf on the seat as they started with setting his hair style

"It feels like I am getting ready for the wedding" Gulf giggled but Mew didn't say anything. When Gulf didn't hear Mew he turned to see Mew who was lost in thought and was fiddling with his left pocket

"Mew...Mew" Gulf called him out

"Hmm" Mew answered

"Sir Gulf, please don't move your head" the stylist asked him

"Oh! Sure" and Gulf sat still like there was no tomorrow

"Sir Gulf, I will be putting this setting spray for you" the stylist asked but Gulf stopped them

"Don't use this one, I have one at home, you can use that" Gulf remember how he once had a reaction with a different spray so to avoid that he had used one that didn't itch his scalp

"I'll go and get it quickly" Gulf got up from his seat but Mew pushed him back down

"I'll get San to get it"

"You want San to come from the office to get me the spray from the 21st floor" Gulf asked skeptically

"No, San is downstairs waiting for us" Mew brushed Gulf's query aside

He dialed San's number and told him to get the spray from the Kanawut family house. He had a close call, as Mew took a deep breath, had Gulf gone downstairs he would had figured what was going on and the surprise would be gone

After the stylist were done, they left and finally Gulf and Mew could relax for half an hour till it was time........

It was finally time and they stood up, and started to head towards the door, Gulf in front of Mew. As Gulf touched the door knob, Mew stopped him and turned him around

"Mew...."

"Gulf, stay with me forever" Mew said as he looked straight in his eyes

"I will....... You don't have to worry" Gulf hugged him

"Okay..." Mew blew out a deep breath and then presented a box to Gulf

"What is that?" Gulf asked curious

Mew opened it and pulled out a tie, it matched his and he tied it around Gulf's neck

"Now we look perfect" Mew pecked Gulf's forehead

"For a second I thought you are proposing" Gulf laughed out loud as he opened the door and headed out

"That is next... soon" Mew mumbled and his voice was drowned by the closing door

"What did you say?" Gulf asked

"Nothing.... let's go"

Win's acting was one of the best I have seen among the actors. Every side of him as displayed perfectly 

Honestly, I wanna transport Win to where Bright is, I can't see him crying at all😭😭😭
